Alcoa? Why Alcoa? Not saying we couldn't give them a run for their money and get a win. I understand what you are saying though, but like pujo stated in some other post, if they would play every down like they mean it and get that lazy streak out of them and get some heart for the game it is un-telling how far they could go and not just this year, the next and the next and so on. Some have this and some are not at that point yet, but they are learning. I don't think they will be overlooking Unaka, Dogs know this is a serious game: both are 3-0 It's for Hampton & Unaka to decide who comes out in the #1 & #2 spot in there Division. Correction: Cosby could still be in the running for 2nd? If the dogs keep there head in the game, because we know what happens if one gets the upper hand in the game and the flags start flying. lol (Rivalry game) i'll say Unaka - 9 Dogs - 42 Go Dogs!!! woof woof This is absolutely 100% not a shot at Hampton, but if yall, or any other team in our region had to play Alcoa it would be very UGLY!!!!! Hampton has a very good football team, but Alcoa is the best team in the state in any classification. They beat the no. 3 ranked 6-A school by three TD's, so to say that yall would give them a game is rediculous, they would score as many as Rankin would let them, and again the Dogs are by far the best team in our region, and absolutely deserve all the accolades they have been given as far as their state rank and such, but you're talking about a 7th ranked team in the state of TN in class 2-A, and a nationally ranked team in any class in the United States! I know yall have confidence in your boys, which you should, but your're walking a fine line between confidence and crazyness. As for the game this week, I like the Dogs by 28.

I don't know anything about the Jeff Co game, but the yall were lucky to be in the Sevier Co game. The Bears had 3 TDs called back and another potential scoring trip foiled by stupid penalties, that game could have, and SHOULD have been UGLY! I like Coach Moore and I think he's done a good job everywhere he's been, but the Eagles will not compete for a district title any time soon, JMHO, take it for what you will, but good luck to the Eagles, always got along with most of the good people from there.

I'm not a fan of Greene County sports, but you sure do talk alot junk for a team that had to cry to the TSAA about being bumped to 3-A so that they would keep yall down in 2-A. I'd like to know exactly why they reversed that decision, but for a school that out mans every other school in the county by quite a large margin, I really don't see the point in crowing about beatn up on a bunch of out-matched opponents. I'd like to see the junk you would be talkn if yall were in the division you SHOULD be in in stead of the one you requested and somehow got placed in, I think it may be a little different. Not calling out all Greeneville fans, but some or your fans are really obnoxious, and I know that all schools have fans like that but dang, enough is enough about yall beating up on the county rivals, if you didn't something would be very wrong!

KING I certainly think every fan has a right to voice their opinion about their hometown team, as long as that opinion is constructive and not out and out bashing the players or coaches. I know you don't do that and your criticism is based solely on the fact that you want your team to be the best they can. What you can't get is parents and fans telling the players how bad their coaches are and how they would be so much better if they did this or did that, because trust me the kids listen to that mess and after a while they start to buy in to what they are hearing outside the program instead of whats going on within and why they are being coached a certain way or in a certain scheme. Its so easy for people who have no idea to come up with a remedy to any problem, but if you're around and see everything that happens everyday and see what kids are actually capable of doing, then you can understand why certain schemes are good some years, but if your a coach worth his salt, you better be able to adapt to your talent level year after year or you will not be very successful. Every great coach adapts their scheme to his talent, not his talent to his scheme, it just doesn't work that way, you have to be able to be flexable and sometimes swallow your pride and do things you may not want to for the simple fact that different things give you better chances of winning different years. Now I've said my piece and I like the Dogs by 10 this week, good luck to all!

Tougher district, they don't have the horses to compete in the district they were placed in. Unfortunately the T$$AA is only concerned about how they can make more money instead of teams being competitive, its a shame that a one time power will never be the same again.

No matter what the local paper said, we had more than 120 total yards, I mean the local paper also gets the name of our stadium wrong a lot. That being said, both teams played hard, Cloudland found some success on the off-tackle kick play, in the third qtr, but we adjusted and played a nice 4th qtr to hang on. We made our share of mistakes in the red-zone, sacks and what not, so we can play the stats game or whatever game yall want to play, both teams played hard, both teams made mistakes that hurt them, and fortunately for us we made a few more plays than yall did. Good luck the rest of the year, I sincerely hope yall get the ship righted, Coach Turbyfill is a good dude, and I have nothing but respect for the Lander nation.

I like the Bears in this one, if they can slow #4 down from Harriman they should control the game.

Not a lack of confidence here, just no need to put any bulletin board material on here that may get the Landers even more fired up, I believe the game will be a tightly contested slugfest as it is, so theres no sense in giving them anything that may make them play harder than I think they are going to play any way. I'm sure both teams will have a good plan in place and we'll just have to wait and see where the chips fall in a couple days.

Really? I guess that everybody is entitled to their opinion, but 20 is a big number. I can't see where Cloudland is that much better than us anywhere, and I think we have the best athlete on the field, going to take at least two Landers to check him so we've got an advantage of 10-9 on offense, and the defense is playing much better, had a terrible first half Friday night but played really well in the second. Now, am I saying that any of this translates to a win for us? NO! But, I don't think either team is even 5 points better than the other, much less 20. Just one man's opinion, take it for what its worth.

Well I'm around the Cloudland faithful all the time, most of them wre real upbeat when the season started. Most of them are pretty negative as we speak. Cloudland really needs to give a good showing tonight ,if they don't , the visitors side will be nearly empty at Cosby next week. I may be the lone Ranger, but I still say ,they have the kids to be a fairly strong team. I really think they are 14 points better than Cosby, just my honest opinion. Thats not a knock against Cosby or their Coaches. Cloudland has several seniors ,pretty good size and some talented skill people. They just need the ball to bounce the right direction. I really douby they will win tonight no matter how they play, but to beat Cosby next week ,they will have to stay healthy ,regroup and understand their season is not lost. We'll see next week how it turns out, but right now we've got to take care of business tonite at CD, so hopefully we can get after it and do what needs to be done.

The Cloudland game is not until next week, we've got to beat CD before we worry about anything Cloudland does or has, I'm fairly certain we'll find a way to stay within shouting distance of the Landers though. I'm not saying anything negative towards Cloudland, just saying we're a little better than we're given credit for being, and despite what certain people think we have a staff that knows a little bit about football and how to play it, so I'm certain we'll be alright the rest of this year and in the future.

If you ask me, you should have paid more attention in English because your subject/verb agreement is terrible. If you have a plural noun your verb is suppossed to be singular, so your sentence should contain the noun "teams" and the verb "suck" then you wouldn't look like an idiot. I'm just sayin'

I've seen Grainger of film and I believe that the Tigers are the favorites this week in my eyes any way. You guys should be able to handle them from what I've seen, they are NOT nearly as good as they were last year.
