i've got a question why hasnt anyone said anything about marquis from union city. In head to head battle Marquis scored 27 points on willie kemp. And if Union City had there post players it would have been a closer game. No one in the state has slowed down Marquis from scoring. Some times he takes game over and the other team doesnt know what has happened to them. He is a top five player in the state and if you dont believe me come and watch him. He is the best northwest tennessee player to come out since trey perison played at south fulton. And he score 41 points against haywood and fouded out with 3 min to play. He might have gotten closer to 50 in that game.

Thanks I'm a fan of lake county but i have a ton of respect for Demarkas and the halls tigers. They husled against trenton and you could tell that halls didnt want to go home. I've talk to patick and he is a fun guy to be around and also a competitor when the ball goes in the air. He is very vocal and i like that. Good luck to the tigers just not on Thursday.

I'm going to prove that wayne and kemp arent on the level that Brandon Wright and Thad Young. Thad had more points against the same team than Kemp and Wayne combined 31 for Young and 24 for Chism and Kemp. Bolivar has two outstanding players but not elite like the two above. If you have elite players dont get me wrong they should score before a team puts up 17 points before you can blink. Willie missed free throws and didnt get started scoring until the last min of the second period. And Wayne first points came late in the second period on a stick back dunk. So no they arnt on the level that Thad and Brandon Wright. If these two were in the draft they would get picked in the top 15 picks. Willie and Wayne wouldn't get picked are if they did it would be late in the second round on players that go to the developing league. I think i made my point on this Homer. I'm not from Memphis, Nashville are Hardenman County I like to watch ball and i can tell who is better than who. A lot of thing dont show up in a stat book so you have to see players for yourself. And if anyone saw what i saw at the omin arena they would tell you the same thing because the difference in ability of players. There is a reason that Wright and Young are ranked in the top ten seriors in the nation and Why Willie and Wayne are ranked in the 40 range. They are all good ball players but there is a difference and i believe me and 3000 other people saw the same thing.

Brentwood is the best team i've seen in a min. It hard to guard a team that has so many wepons. Brandon Wright is the best post player to come out of tennessee since Kirt Haston. One thing that I saw in this game was the ability of Brendwood to run a half court offence to perfection. It just wasnt Brandon it was Jushua Bone Brian Wright and the other players that just excuted. Chism is clearly not on the level that Wright is. He may have more weight on him but when it comes to the other aspects of the game Wright shines. He can handle the ball like a guard, and the sad thing for Chism is that Wright blocked most of his shots without jumping off the floor. Wayne is going to get better but i saw the difference between the number one player in the state and the number three player in the state. There is a wide gap between Brandon Wright and Thad Young compared with Willie and Wayne. They are both good ball players but they arent on the elite level yet. Notice i said yet they will get a whole lot better going to the schools they choose. I think that Wayne will developed faster at Tennessee with the lack of depth and the level of competition in the sec other than Willie going to Memphis and playing against c-usa guards and Washinton jr. will still be there.

M-Town how many games have you gone to besides the Middleton game. I'm guessing none the way it sounds. I've been to many games involving other teams besides lake county. But i'm sorry i guess you can't help that because you the middleton's mascot and the number one fan of the lame tiggers. You probley wipe the sweat off Marq Murden face and starts smelling it. If lake county play middleton in state i guess we will have an easy time getting to MTSU and try winning a gold ball. We will run ya'll out of the gym if we play now. Good luck tigers

I wished i got to go to the game. I had a friend that went and reported back to me saying that Lake County wasn't missing a shot. Why i'm posting has anyone heard anything on Springer. He is very Important on how far we go in district, region and beyond. I've watch alot of games this year involving Lake County and Springer get better every time i watch him. I've seen a lot of players play this year but Springer may be the best all around player i've seen. P.S. I've seen the m-town ballers squad play in Martin and they remind me of Union City. Sorry i ment Union City B team. Sorry Union City B team that is a slap in the face to ya'll to be compared to Middleton. Marq Murdon needs to work on a jump shot. He can't go inside against against Middle College. The ball will end up somewhere close to Lake County from the hands of Curie. You don't need to worry about how impressed it sounds for Lake County to win but you need to worry about getting some health benifits after Middle College's front court starts beatin Marq Murden drives to the basket and it ends up in the stands somewhere.

My prediction for this is in single a it going to be Union City and Lake County to play for State A title. In Double A it going to be Bolivar and Mitchel And 3a it goin to be Hamiton and Ridgeway Class A Champion: Union City Class AA Champion: Bolivar Class AAA Champion: Memphis Hamiton

Ok you must be from East or Middle Tennessee. I know that your fustrated that football is over and it is time for all West Tennessee teams to run yall out of mtsu's gym. But it ok this is our time to shine. Football starts in late Aug. that is yall time to shine. Middle and East own Football and West owns the hardwood.

Why are they considered the front-runners in class 1A. Who have they played besides each other. Union City and Lake County play the hardest opponents in state and out. Union City plays teams like Haywood, Bolivar, Liberty, and also they played in the poplar bluff tour. Lake County played in Marion Ill. tourn. and a tuff dist. schedule to go along with the out of state team the played against. A team record doesn't prove anything excepted a big let down come state tournment time. If I recall right that a team with 10 losses got to the title game and beat all of the weak teams with only 1 or 2 losses from east and middle Tennessee. By the way it was two west tennessee teams that played in all of the title games last year with the exception of Brentwood. So that tells me that all the people that vote are mostly homers and don't know a basketball if it hit them in the head.

The game tonight between Trenton and Lake County should be a fun one to go to considering past history. Lake County should win but close considering they are playing in Trenton. If Lake County plays any way they did in the first half against Union City's B team then they might be in trouble. And if they play like the second half team they should win by 10 to 15 points. I've seen both play and Lake County has better talent to work with.
