I was just wondering how they did against some competition. With the returning players RBS has to be the favorite in their district this year. But I'm sure everybody will play them tough. If you're in 7A, you better bring your lunch, nobody is a pushover. I know Laken is a great player, but the rest of the team deserves credit too. They have a really good team. I hope they get matched up with Forrest again this year in the Eagleville Christmas Classic? I'm not sure if either team is slated to play in it or not.

What camps has RBS been to this year and what were the results against other teams in varsity play?

Several fans got tossed. I don't remember all the details, but it was not a proud moment for anybody. During the days before the game there were rumors that Macon Co. fans were going to throw nails on RBS fans. That didn't happen, but there was a lot of hype leading up to the game. So when the games started, I think people may have over reacted to things they normally wouldn't have. I think that not playing would be a wake up call to everybody. But I wish folks could just get along. I'm from Lafayette, my wife's from RBS, so we appreciate both teams and we're proud of their sucess' in all sports.

Well the Forrest game was a heart attack waiting to happen. But Jackson Co. is more compatable to Forrest. Jackson Co. looks very deep on the bench, probably nine good players. Forrest is almost as deep; seven deep, very solid for sure. I think Forrest was exposed on ball handling today. Even though JC has great defense, they don't have the sticky fingers that MAM showed. (that freshman Faulkner is going to be great). I'm hoping Forrest can get their outside shot going better and they need better hustle after the ball than I saw today. Madison Acad Magnet drove me nuts just trying to watch the game! I know what the coach was doing with all of the subs. More than anything, he killed the transition game off a made free throw. Forrest showed a lot of heart to pull that out today. Gabby put 'em on her back that last two minutes. The outside shooting was not good at all. I hope they can get it together for tomorrow night.

Great season Lady Bulldogs! I know since you've had a taste of the big time, you will be so hungry for it next season. I hope everybody stays healthy and Larry should have a great season AGAIN next year. For such a small school, it's incredible the skill and talent that Larry is able to develop and coach. I wish there were more dedicated coaches like Coach White in every school. Congratulations on such a wonderful season and good luck next year.

I've been trying to read up on Madison Acad Magnet school. They seem to have a balanced game and just destroyed Oliver Springs today. Forrest pulled out a tough game over a tough team, beating Red Boiling Springs by four points. Defense is going to be key in this game for Forrest to win. Madison is a high scoring team if they get on a roll. Forrest will need full court pressure and play their style of game. Madison AM will have to hit their outside shots, because Forrest should be able to control the paint. I'm picking Forrest to get to the finals. I agree with the comments about the refs. I watched both of Eagleville's games and saw plenty of bad calls all night against all teams playing. What was the technical foul in the Eagleville / NCS against NCS for? I really didn't see anything that drastic.

I'll take Eagleville by a deuce over Nashville Christian School, and East Robertson over East Literature School by five. Should be two very good games.

Forrest won by 25 tonight over Montessori and Houston Co. beat Cascade. Can Eagleville take care of Nashville Christian? And can McEwen beat Community? If Community plays like they can, I think they can knock McEwen out of it. Go 9A!

You know I was trying not to go the "retarded" route on comments that have been hurled my way from other Forrest fans. Too bad you went there, because in your attempt to look mature, you look more immature than the others. As I said, Forrest has a good team, we'll see who wins on Thursday night and let the girls do the talking. I've seen them for several years and know your girls have class. If Forrest can put Eagleville out, I'll cheer for Forrest and hope to get them again in the region. Will you give Eagleville the same support?

Obviously, it's Forrest's post play, that's gave Eagleville fits. I'll give credit where it's due. Forrest has a good team. But they are defintely beatable. There's no way they make it to state. Red Boiling Springs beat Forrest in the Christamas tournament without their great 8th grade post. Forrest has to beat teams like that to get to state.
