  1. They killed a decent team today 6-0. It was against Liberty and they played their bench players the 2nd half. They are a very good team this year, better than I have ever seen them but I havn't watched Cak or other big teams play so don't know if USJ should be first. And by the way Big G how are the Pifers fitting in on your team.
  2. I think that Madison will be the better team but Sheffield might have the advantage if it is played on their field. I hate playing on fields like that. There is not near enough room to play soccer the way it supposed to be played. And Isn't their some rule saying how big a field has to be or do they just ignore it.
  3. Yea If you mark up real good on Brian you can shut down their team. It is hard for him when he dosn't have the players around him.
  4. McNariy looks decent this year but who on yalls team has ever played club ball? I think that you could be an average team this year but it takes time to become a great team. But good luck this year I could be wrong.
  5. The best strikers I have seen : Josh Balts(Martin- has a great a finishing), Brandon Middleton(Martin- is very fast), David Grusser(Dyersburg- also very fast), Nick D. (Madison- all around great skill), and Brian C.(Haywood- has better control on ball than anyone highschool player I have seen)
  6. I think that USJ could very easly be undefeated in the regular season, and hopefully through state. It is kinda hard for teams from the west like USJ to get big name schools to travel down here, and I know that it would be hard on the team to travel 3 to 4 hours every time they want to play a school from the east. They have played a few solid teams like Northside and Madison. But I agree that it would help them to play some more top quality clubs, but it is hard to do that in the west.
  7. I think Martin won 4-1. I thought it would be a much closer game but I guess martin is better than i thought.

    USJ

This is probably the strongest USJ team I have ever seen. I look for them to go far in the state tournament this year. Bring it back for the west.
  9. what happened in Westview Haywood game?
  10. Post the game summary and scores from games in the west.
  11. Cory should be a defender though. That is what he has played like all his life. He is still a decent mid. yea and Brandon is probably the most dangerous forward when he is well.
  12. The best defenders have to be Billy from USJ, Cory from Martin, and Nick from Madison. They are all leaders on there teams and hard to get around. The best mid in the state is Brian Castro from Haywood he is almost impossible to stop and he has great passing. Not to sure about the forwards.
  13. I would have to agree. USJ looks very strong this year and they are returning most of the starters from a team that last year made it to state. So look for them to go far. I have heard a lot about Northside and they should also be a strong team. And Westview is always strong, I know right now they are missing a very good foward and believe me he can change an outcome of a game. So I hope that the west can go far this year. It would be great for all the programs around here if one of these teams brought home the state title.
  14. Madison might still be alright but they are nothing like they were last year. And they are really going to have to play well and hard to make it out of that district and region. but good luck
  15. So did yall outplay McNairy or was it a even game, and is McNairy going to be good this year?
  16. I would have to say legends are one of the most comfortable shoes ever and nice touch. I just ordered the new ones Ill tell you how they feel.
  17. Not to sure about how good some of these teams are but I suspect that Haywood Madison or Covington will be the top teams. I know that Madison lost a lot of players but they always have a good program so they should do good, and haywood took a hit in some key losses in their defense so it could leave it up to any team in that district.
  18. They looked alot better than the last few years, but they are still not up to the level of the top teams in the state. I know a couple of guys on Covington that played with me on the Jackson Wolves this past fall. So they should be a team that can compete.
  19. How did USJ do? I saw them beating Martin and they looked real good this year.
  20. I didn't expect that outcome but good luck to both team. So when is the Madison Dyersburg game. Also when is the USJ game and do they play Shefield next.
  21. Yea I palyed up there in the Winter. Indoor soccer is much more fun, and fast pace. I've only played indoor for two years and it is way different than outdoor soccer. It takes a while to get use to it. But the nearest place is like 2 hours away in Mayfield. It would be awsome if they built a indoor field in Jackson. But I don't think that will happen very soon.
  22. I wouldn't say that yall outplayed USJ by far but Madison did get the better of the game. USJ's passing was amazing. Their coach has really gotten this team in top shape and they are the strongest USJ team I have seen in years. But Madison just has more talent. Great game.
  23. That was one of the best games I have seen in a while. Madison had a more shots but USJ had some real good scoreing chances too. These two teams are both very good teams and look for them to go far this year.
  24. 6-0 Haywood beat Ripley. Good try though.
