  1. He is referring to the "one win" vs. Brentwood, not the entire season record.
  2. Goals by: Keri Kerstetter 2, Carly O'Connell 2, Dana Schwartz, Alex Wingo.
  3. I thought Jackson was in West Tennessee?
  4. Sorry, different interpretations. Reamed=to get the shaft. Old school I guess.
  5. I am so glad you won't make bold statements. Because it hasn't been in the froum in the last month does not mean much of anything, other than you read a months worth of posts I guess. When Centennial got well, which it appears they have, they were going to be the team to beat in the district. Doesn't matter if you feel that way or not, but if you had seen them play earlier in the season(?) and saw them play last night, then you might see what well vs. injured means. They have a terrific team. If they don't get reamed like they did in State last year they can go a very long way.
  6. Centennial is the team to beat in the district and has been all year. For those who were aware of the injury situation it was a given that when those players were back that the Cougars would be an excellent team. Surely you knew that?
  7. For those in the know I don't think Centennial would have been considered the underdog. It was painful to watch from a Brentwood point but good in a way to see Centennial back. They are an excellent team and capable, as is Brentwood, of going a long way in the post season. And, once again, a quality team will not advance past the District semis.
  8. tsk, tsk, a wee bit sensitive are we?
  9. Brentwood started 3 seniors, 4 juniors and 4 sophomores. Having 7 upperclassmen does make a difference although the first goal was scored by a 9th grader. Franklin started 2 seniors, 4 juniors, 2 sophomores and 3 freshmen. Looks like some continued really good games in the next few years.
  10. Surprised you weren't there or didn't get the score from one of your former team mates.
  11. Politics and demographics are definitely not something you guys are familiar with. Equality doesn't exist in China and 2 million is a pinhead of the population. Better stick to milking cows and playing football.
  12. The Tullahoma coach did what he had to do to stay in the game and that is what it is all about. No one should make excuses for that. Brentwood did control the game for the most part but Tullahoma made it pretty interesting on more than one occasion.
  13. The coaches split the district and do the scheduling I believe.
  14. Next year the District will be one division of 8 teams. This year it is as it has been previously noted.
  15. Does not count in District seeding. Independence is grouped with Hillsboro, Hillwood, and Overton. Brentwood is grouped with Franklin, Centennial and Ravenwood. Indy will likely finish as #1 seed in their side and play the #4 team from the other side of the District in first round of tournament play.
  16. Actually not a district game. Since Brentwood and Independence are in different sides of the District it does not count in the District standings for tournament seeding purposes. Should be a very good game regardless. Independence is a tough opponent for anyone.
  17. At least they played a team like McDonogh. You can't beat em unless you play em, and even then you may not win, but it is good for soccer here to have teams like McDonogh come in and play.
  18. Brentwood doesn't have anything to gain out of playing BA so why would they play them?
  19. State law does not allow that. Even if they could "participate", they would, in the case of an athletic team, have to try out like everyone else. That would be the limit of "participation" for those who are not chosen for a particular team.
