Columbia Post 19 is hosting their 12th Independence Day Classic coming up on July 4th-7th. 19 & under tournament with one spot remaining. Entry fee is $425 plus a dozen baseballs. Teams are coming in from all around the country. If interested call 931-215-0245 or email memckeel@hotmail.com.

Columbia Post 19 Senior team (19&under) will be hosting tryouts Sunday May 26th at 4pm. The tryout will be held at Columbia State Community College baseball field. Any kid that played high school baseball is eligible to try out. The season will start June 6th and run through early August. When does the tournament kick off? Is all games at Spring Hill or is first round elsewhere?

Will be shocked if either one ever steps foot on Vanderbilt's campus to play. Both will/should be drafted in top 3 rounds. It's near impossible to turn down that money for no future guarantee. There is no job you can have that pays you that much that quickly. Be a mistake not to take the money if you are taken that early.

Who pitched for Columbia? Lincoln Co. looked bad hitting and fielding. Made a lot of cheap errors that cost them four runs in one inning. Good observation on their bats blessedhope. Showed no ability of hitting an offspeed pitch.

It's Tullahoma by a mile at the top. Then Columbia and Lincoln fighting over the two seed. Then the other three fighting over the bottom 3 spots.

Who are some of the top shortstops coming up this year in middle Tennessee?

It shouldn't. Most big time pitchers can pitch twice a week or three times if only for an inning once.

Wow sounds like a great game. Congrats to Coffee Co and goodluck to them tomorrow. Hopefully there wasn't any umpire errors to hear about.

Men were on 1st and 3rd. Tie game. Grounder back to pitcher. Pitcher throws to 2nd and gets him out. 2nd baseman is standing in the baseline and the runner slides straight into the bag and takes out the 2nd basemen. Man on 2rd scores what ended up to be the winning run. Lincoln Co coaches argued but for no apparent reason as the 2nd baseball was standing right in the middle of the line.

The call on the play where Lawrence Co broke up the double play was the right call. It was a clean play and Lincoln Co argued for no reason.

The answer is no. They have never saw the guy before. Also what is the 2nd blown call?? I only saw one questionable call.

Columbia and Tullahoma is the #4 & #5 game i think.....I've also heard Franklin Co plays at Shelbyville for the play-in game.

Columbia is struggling to hit the ball right now. They only had 3 hits tonight and got their 3 runs off of errors. If they can get the bats goin they have good pitching.

I think this year they are goin back to the old tourney ways of having a play-in game. This means the #1 and #2 seeds would get a 1st round bye.
