  1. This link takes you to the District schedule. Sycamore, White House, and Greenbrier have 10 in district games. Macon, Westmoreland, and Goodpasture have 6 in district games. http://www.coacht.com/tennessee/inside/schedule_group.cfm?schoolid=181&sportid=3&seasonid=134 Back to my question, wassup?
  2. Here is your idea, this is from the Coach T website - Example - This is Macon's schedule - Where do they play Westmoreland? Goodpasture? The schedule on the site may be wrong, but when would they have time to play them before District games? 2010-2011 Schedule Analyze this schedule Date Opponent Details Result Tue Nov. 16 Lebanon Hall of Fame W 64-56 Fri Nov. 19 at East Robertson Hall of Fame W 63-60 Tue Nov. 23 at Trousdale County W 46-42 Tue Nov. 30 Gordonsville W 49-43 Fri Dec. 3 Gallatin L 48-55 Fri Dec. 10 at Gordonsville W 55-51 Tue Dec. 14 at Hendersonville L 43-45 Fri Dec. 17 at #18 Clay County L 41-48 Wed Dec. 22 at Pickett County Rafferty's/Double Dogs Classic W 55-45 Tue Dec. 28 Smith County N Nera White Tournament W 49-37 Wed Dec. 29 Middle Tenn Heat N Nera White 5PM at Macon County, Lafayette, TN W 56-49 Thu Dec. 30 Germantown Nera White Championship 8PM L 39-72 Tue Jan. 4 Trousdale County W 59-47 Sat Jan. 15 at Greenbrier D W 59-53 Tue Jan. 18 at White House D W 46-41 Sat Jan. 22 at Gallatin Score? 3. Help me understand this district....Sycamore, Whitehouse, and Greenbrier all have 10 district games, playing all other district 9 teams twice. Macon, Westmoreland, and Goodpasture only have 6 district games, and they will not play everyone in the district. (i.e., I don't think Macon will play Westmoreland or Goodpasture - at all!) How can a District determine how the teams finish when they don't play every team in the district?
  4. Might as well, rh1, sounds like Bolivar has made reservations.... GO RED HAWKS! ( wow, typing that was eaiser than I thought it would be... but Friday, I hope it's back to "Go War Eagles, Beat the Red Hawks" !! )
  5. Congrats, Bolivar. But be aware, there will be a house full of Red Hawk fans in Waverly! (Dressed in Red and White, Navy and Gold, Blue and White, and even more Blue and White!)
  6. ....good call! Sycamore, Creekwood, and Harpeth continue, Congrats to Waverly for a great season. Sycamore v. Harpeth w/ sub-state on the line? Don't miss this one!!
  7. Sycamore over Lexington! Will face Harpeth (again!) @ 6pm Tuesday. 3 teams from Dist. 11 - gotta love it!
  8. I don't think they came apart, I just think the ball fell for Sycamore. That was a very well thought out plan of attack by both teams, nothing fancy, just use your strengths. I think the first 3 qtrs ended 11-11, 21-21, 23-23. When Sycamore went ahead by 1 or 2 in the 4th, they started stalling. Creekwood got lulled into chasing the ball, and left Ellis wide open under the basket for another 2. That put the pressure on Creekwood. They had to start fouling with about 1:30 to go, and had 4-5 fouls to give. That game reminded me of a game of Chess, very calculated, and very deliberate. .....and don't count out the scrappy little Lady War Eagles yet!
  9. I will go ahead and say I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but last night, I saw a TEAM of great players beat a group of great athletes. It seemed like Howard was stunned this little team from the sticks actually intended to win the game! I don't think Coach Tarver was ready for that. Howard was not ready for the Sycamore team that showed up. I am very proud of War Eagles and the coaches for going to a hostile environment and knocking the wind out of their opponent on the OPENING KICKOFF! They were able to keep the Tigers on their heels all night. Great job, Coaches! Also, it has to be hard on the home team players when the Visitors, from 2 1/2 hours away, bring as many, if not more, fans to watch the game. I'm sure the War Eagle fans had a substantial part in the win, but like they say, "Sycamore travels well". The fans should feel great for the 12th man effort. Looking forward to Station Camp, THAT is going to be a good game!
  10. Fairview was hosting Sycamore. As the storm approached, they stopped the game early in the 4th quarter, sent the teams to the locker rooms, and everyone else huddled in a hallway as it passed. We were very isolated from the storm, but at one point, the officer on duty made an announcement of a tornado touching down on a nearby road. It really sunk in as a Fairview cheerleader began to cry as she heard the name of the road. We were just visiting and safe, but this was their homes, families, and friends being pounded by 100+mph winds. The last report I heard, there was serious property damage, two injuries, but thankfully no fatalities around Fairview. We should keep all those affected by the storms in our thoughts and prayers.
  11. Sycamore won by 2 or 3, great game, score was in the mid 60's. Last second lay-up, and 1, by Sycamore's #11 Kelly Covington to go ahead. I wish I knew her name, but Fairview's #20 had an awesome game, I think they said she had 35 points. Becca Brown for Syc. had a quiet 30 points! Storms blew in, ended the boys game early in the 4th, w/ Syc way up.
