  1. No agenda here, navy. Just simply responding to you and so many others who berated and trashed Mr. Marchetti for "running' from cash. However, people seem to overlook the fact that cash wrestled 145 at duals and I was informed by you and others that it was because he was wrestling at Senior Nationals. So if he doesn't then what can be said about weighing in at 145? That's all I was saying--- That it doesn't make sense, that's all. Anyways, this whole issue is old, almost as old as talking to you. Have a nice day! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  2. And if he doesn't go to Senior Nationals, I wonder what his reason for going 145 at duals was about.....
  3. Too bad half of the pages haven't been about the original topic. You are truly a moron, and it's evident since you won't reply to this like in the past. I can only hope one day you'll wake up from your semi-retarded state. I'm sorry you have something against the Ryan program, even though you have never said why. And to you Navy, it's ironic you call me out on having the last word, that's the pot calling the kettle black.
  4. Yeah, navy, I know how it goes. The least you all could do is start a new thread instead of posting on this one, but hey that's ya'lls prerogative and I know how you guys are- all talk but nothing else.
  5. It's a shame this thread is still open and even more so that you all are still posting on it.
  6. He is indeed a hoss, beast, stud or whatever you want to call it, and I hope he will be able to stay at the current school he is enrolled in and wrestle some of the best high school competition.
  7. This is a gret list of wrestlers. Remember the name in bold, this kid is going to be one tough stud when he gets older.
  8. I know, it was more intended towards RMC and just having some fun.
  9. Well, according to RMC he is a freshman, however that can be debated as it has in the past.
  10. This issue is very simple. Tim obviously saw the infractions or else he would not have called them. After watching the match, I could certainly see the first two calls of pulling the head gear and I think on the third call the assistant ref rushed in to signal Tim that he grabbed the head gear again. So when you have both officials agreeing that the head gear is being pulled, then obviously something is going on. Plus, if the ref is making it pretty darn clear that he's going to call the violation, then the wrestler should have changed his game plan and not attacked the head, or atleast should not have "hung" on the head. Others have brought up good points, specifically coach Delgado on the duplicate thread, that just because the other 47 refs of Ofori's other matches didn't call it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be called! That should go against all the other refs that failed to call it. I know it is a terrible way for the Cleveland kid to lose his state finals match and I truly feel for him, but again, is the ref supposed to just not call a violation that is clearly stated in the rule book?
  11. There are only a few that have the 'Mr.' title... and Young is one of them. In my opinion, he is the best wrestler in the state followed by Watson who, correct me if I'm wrong, has never lost to any in-state wrestler.
  12. So let me see if I understand you here, There was never a punch thrown OR anything that resembled a punch being thrown?? So the ref just called the match a disqualification for the heck of it? Yeah, didn't think so. And let's be honest while we're at it-- There wasn't a whole lot of rasslin going on during that match between BOTH wrestlers, which isn't surprising after watching the baylor HWT wrestle last year and again this year. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the baylor HWT DQ'd for too many stalling calls last year at state? Furthermore, the whole slideby story seems a bit watered down and too coincidental. By attempting to defend the baylor HWT's name and character, you have belittled and insulted the MBA HWT in the process which is ironic.
  13. ???? So you just contradicted yourself. If anyone could come out on top at any given day, then doesn't mean Ridenour could beat cash??????
  14. (SIGH), You, like many others seem to forget that Marchetti also beat Cash at McCallie, so the series was split. I'm not saying Cash isn't a great wrestler, however I'm not going to say he is the BEST wrestler in our entire state! I just like the way Ridenour wrestles, I don't know call me crazy, but he's pretty good. If I want to pick him over cash... then I will--just like you can pick whoever you'd like. It is my hope that he (cash) will go on to wrestle at the ncaa level and also achieve AA status, which would further prove that the JV division, as BCB likes to call it, is the most skilled division in our state.
  15. The only points Proctor would score would be if escape points. He would not be able to take Marchetti down. I also think Ridenour would beat Cash.
  16. No it's ok that you didn't know what you were talking about and had to be proven wrong. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Uh Nope. Just because one doesn't write on a message board, does not mean they haven't kept up with their team /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Make sense to you now??
  18. ??? It's not bandwagoning when you've never left the Irish family. Once your in, you pretty much stay in. The loyalty is always there, I'm sorry it's obviously not the same for you and whatever team you support.
  19. You know rigger, it confuses me how you continuely wish the IRISH family and wrestlers good blessings and say you have so many family members from Ryan, yet on the very next post you bad mouth them along with so many others by saying we aren't abiding by our guidelines(???) and values?! Just curious, but how would you know what our values and guidelines are sir, because I assure you, you are NOT apart of the Ryan family. So although I appreciated your congratulations at first, your two-faced posts have now made them into nothing. You know, It's sad that just because Ryan is a storied program, they get completely trashed when some of their fans overreact during matches, yet EVERY team has fans that will lose their cool (even Hendersonville parents and don't say they haven't because i've sat right next to them at Ryan tournaments and listened to it /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> ), because as we all know wrestling is the most intense and exciting sport. For example, Baylor's fans boo a FRESHMAN KID for puking in a trash can during the finals, but I don't see any uproar over that?? The booing and nonsense happens in EVERY fan section for EVERY freaking team, DI or DII, so for God's sake you people get over yourselves and shut up about it, it's simply ridiculous. ANYWAYS, I think after the many, many posts you have written clearly contradicting yourself, you can keep your blessings and well-wishes for the Ryan family and wrestlers to yourself because once again, your not a part of the Ryan faithful and never will be. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  20. Fan6, since you don't know his previous posts and you don't know what you're talking about it, I'll just ignore that part. I'm entitled to my opinions just like he is and just like you are. However, just so you know, he has constantly belittled and tried to start problems throughout the season by attacking kids, coaches, etc. Then after he makes his wrong and idiotic posts and he gets called out on it, he doesn't respond, but will later start a new thread with more senseless garbage. It hasn't been just this one post, it has been pretty much all of his posts so it's not an overreaction. Anyways, I appreciate your concern. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  21. I'm sorry that you're bitter, jealous or whatever, however, it's good to see your extending your vocabulary from your usual idiotic posts. Baylor had many chances to capture the title, it just didn't go there way. However, they still wrestled a great tournament and no one can take that away from them, just like pathetic, ignorant idiots like yourself can't take Ryan's state title away from them. They worked extremely hard after a very disappointing showing at state duals, and they were able to win the tournament outright this year. It's obvious you know nothing of this sport, considering all of your previous posts, but it's sad you are so pathetic that you feel you must belittle high school KIDS accomplishments.. But that's your business and I feel sorry for you. But by all means, please continue to harbor your resentment and ill feelings towards Ryan for many seasons to come; it will give all of us something to laugh about in the future. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  22. In what way does this show either teams DOMINANCE??? It seems pretty close to me. However it's not surprising coming from you, to post this and try to take away Ryan's championship. Baylor had plenty of opportunities to win the tournament, it just didn't go there way, which is no knock on them. Just give credit where credit is due. To quote Navy, "You should just crawl back into your hole, ironman." ANYWAYS- It was a great tournament with the team championship coming down to the last final matches, just like last year. I just wish it didn't have to end! Congrats to Baylor on their great showing and to their state champions. I already can't wait for next year.
  23. ghouse, I first want to congratulate CBHS on a great showing, especially Baucke and Johnson. However, now I hope you can come to appreciate Coach Simpson's strategy of placing Mr. Marchetti at 160, since earlier in the week you were confident that it didn't make them a stronger team. C'mon ghouse you gotta trust me next time, I told ya it made them a stronger team! Next, I must tip my hat to the Baylor squad, who wrestled a great tournament. Doster over Hooker was huge for them and I was happy to see Doster avenge his lost.
  24. Appreciate the kind words rigger. Congrats to your Commando grapplers on a great showing at state.
