  1. i am pretty sure i do, and i do not think you know what i want or don't want. besides, i want to play anyone at this point because i haven't played since February.
  2. i thought so too, i was sitting there watching the game and saw a Bearden player flip the ball backwards and then it deflected off something (maybe a brentwood player) and went in, just a fluke. did they give that goal to Scott Hemingway? The last goal was important, every goal is important, it was a great move and finish by Rico. haha Tom doesn't look like a soccer player, but he can play.
  3. um yes, i was on the team when the stars and impact played in the highest premier league, i think i would know. We played teams that beat us 8-0, and such. We did improve later in the season though. TNFC lays in a premier league that is a little less competitive and they won that league. Overall i am sure TNFC plays harder competition more frequently, but playing the best is playing the best, you can't really get harder than the best. Do you know if TNFC is even playing in state seeing as how they already have a pass to regionals? i would like to play them again (than again, i might not).
  4. hey BigGExpress i passed by the BigGExpress company thiny on my way to the tournament, and many a BigG truck. it made me look at fun times on coacht. did any one else find this amusing? (sorry, i know this is off topic)
  5. yes i agree they did have some open looks that went overlooked, and they have people that can shoot, my prediction of 3-1 almost happened in the last minute of play, but the kid (don't know who) kicked it over the goal instead of placing. Bearden needs to learn how to push a midfielder up on oncoming opposing players, too often i saw a Brentwood player dribbling freely about 20-25 yards away. A couple of times a center defender had to step up (very dangerous) to pressure the guy with the ball.
  6. they ahve not played harder competition than the Stars or the Impact for they both played in the highest premier league possible (and got beat thouroughly i might add). I know who he plays for and i understand that for TNFC he plays at a high level, but that is with a certain team with other great players that he can work with. He needs to learn how to use his players for his high school team that are not so great and have not played at such a high level. Get my point? he has to make it work with his high school team and by looking at it tonight he failed badly. So he needs to play higher competition with his high school team so that he can find a way to benefit from it.
  7. GO KNOXVILLE, now if we can only a good complex... i have to say that these fields are incredible. Good luck CAK and Catholic, i think we might make this an all Knoxville state final. that would be great.
  8. oh yeah i agree 100%, i just do not like my predictions going wrong props to Hendersonville and good luck, but i am rooting for an East Tennessee showdown for AAA and AA.
  9. ya i loved it, he did really well. I myself was proud to be on his team once upon a time. Brentwood for next year really need to push a much harder schedule. They did not look ready at all for the top teams. I know i keep hampering on and on about this, but a harder schedule does push better results.
  10. AAA i think i will pull for Farragut with a win over Hendersonville 2-1 Bearden will win 3-0 hittin up the old East Tennessee rivalry yet again with the Bulldogs pulling it out. do you all think Farragut can handle Hendersonville? i have not seen them play this season.
  11. aww man, i was hoping for Houston, they were my bet for state, sounds like they did well though and on to the next round.
  12. GREAT GAME BEARDEN!!! they played amazingly tonight. Lowder did try some times, and almost broke free until Trevor fouled him (without a call). Lowder was not that special and probably needs a harder schedule to get used to those types of games, i can see how he would mop up weaker teams though, and probably could thegood teams if he had experience in doing so. i do not know who but someone had an absolute rocket from the Brentwood squad that almost went in even though it went 2 feet away from the keeper. as for Tom Webster, he is one of the best sophmores in state in my opinion, his goal was one of the best plays by Bearden that i have seen (it consisted of Brandon Wyrick and Tom, all the way down the field). He is playing for the Arsenal (Crush) this season last i heard.
  13. i think it is the case, even though i am betting against Riverdale that does not mean you all can not win. if you lose from here on out your out. Only one loss and your sent packing.
  14. might i ask who you are? yes i did only play two years of high school, one at Oak Ridge and one at Bearden. the reason i was not allowe to play this year is becasue TSSAA rules state that a player only has 8 semesters of eligibility for soccer. Well, my sophmore year after the first semsester and in January i got expelled from Oak Ridge High School. So, if you count up the semesters, this semester is my 9th; therefore, i am not eligible to play. as for undefeated, i don't think so. Every team has a bad game, and other teams played are very very good (like CBHS, and playing Farragut three times is too much). but thanks
  15. i guess so, but Bearden always keeps their defenders back unless they have corner kicks (which in this case they should probably keep more than 2 people back). So i am not too too worried about a 2 on four with a long ball, of course i might be worried after i see how good Lowder is.
  16. i have yet to see Lowder play yet and am very anxious to do so, it should be interesting and i am sure by your all comments that brentwood will at least score one, so Bearden, you all better be reagy to score
  17. i do hope for alot of pk's, they are always great to watch. if any team does get into a shoot out, how about letting the rest of the fans know so we can watch.
  18. 1) you could not even type two words right. 2) this response does not even make sense for this topic because people that do not stink and are the best in the state can always gain a better touch and quickness. 3) have a great day
  19. AAA hendersonville 1 - 2 houston riverdale 1 - 2 farragut in overtime Ootlewah 1 - 0 ridgeway Brentwood 1 - 3 Bearden AA/A Dyersburg 2 - 1 columbia Catholic 2 - 1 ccs cak 2 - 0 cpa usj 2 - 0 csas D2 CBHS 3 - 0 MBA Baylor 1 - 0 father ryan BGA 3 - 0 briarcrest MUS 2 -1 mccallie in overtime
  20. thats true, i definitely thought that Hendersonville would have taken it all last year, but it goes to show that state is the time for no mistakes i do think that Lowder is the support of that team, and if i was coaching i would mark him with a good defender, he would go everywhere Lowder goes.
  21. get a partner and set up a cone in the middle of you i would say stand about ten yards apart, now dribble towards the cone and at eachother, when you are about to reach your partner both of you do a set move, (maybe a simple fake left go right, or maybe a scissor, or step over, or coif, or anything you want) you both have to go the same direction (fake right go left) so that you won't hit eachother. do this will all of the moves you want and try to explode after each move, and really 'sell' the move so it will work. try and get as many touches on the ball as possible before you reach the cone after you feel good enough about the move start playing one on one using the moves. this will give you touches, control and quickness. For all of you that played for Harry under the Stars club in knoxville back in the day you will remember this for we did it all day.
  22. is this directed to me? i believe it is so.. firstly last year has nothing to do with anything because it is a new year and anything can happen, if the year before had anything to do with it then farragut would not have went home the first round last year becasue the year before they were state champions. secondly, you heard that Bearden had one of their best games and hendersonville had a bad one? and? Bearden had two break aways that game that were missed and a ball across the six with the goalie out of position, the ball was kicked over the goal by a Bearden freshman, and their first goal by Daniel Kelly was a terrible shot that bobbled in our keepers arm, who just missed an easy pick-up. all these are facts, where are yours? how can you tell me to post facts and show none yourself? the power does not shift every few years, that does not even comply, the power is up for any one at any time. umm in the 89's (sophmore's and juniors) club state was won by Diadora Impact coming from none other than Knoxville, mostly Farragut.
  23. i think your right, but MBA better have one of their good games, they have proven to be very inconsistent throughout this season and i think that they can give any team a run for their money if they are at their best. overall though i will give this game to CBHS.
