    MBA

I echo this sentiment, it was inspiring to watch this team grow throughout the year. The MBA coaching staff has this program on the right track and IMO the future looks very bright for the Big Red. I wish Ensworth the best of luck, no shots at MUS, they have a great program as well, I just want to keep the Gold Ball in the Mid-State.
  2. I spent the last hour reading all of the garbage posted on this thread that I thought was about the upcoming game between FCS and Oliver Springs. I was looking for some insight into what has to be a very exciting time in these young mens life. I saw very little of that. So for an outsider who is a longtime member, please stay on topic so I can keep up with some teams that I have interest in. If you must bash or whine, start a thread and call it "Life's not fair" or something along those lines,, that way I will know to skip that fine literature. Good luck Friendship, you have fought through a lot of adversity to get this far and I am extremely proud of your efforts and accomplishments. This is the most important game of the year. Oliver Springs is a very good team (or they would be playing basketball)and has homefield advantage. Prepare well, stay focused, and as always, don't stop till you hear the whistle!! If you do those things then I will come to watch you win in Cookeville! FCS 28 OS 13
  3. Just a comment from an outsider who has watched several of these boys for many years. Shepard can play much bigger than his physical size, and because of his natural basketball instinct he is invaluable in the paint. He will get double digit scoring from simply out hustling his opponents on the boards.
  4. Aaron's injury was not serious. It was NOT a concussion. The hit was painful and caused numbness, but that has subsided and all CT's / MRI's were clean. Some rehab and he will be ready to go. I want to thank all those who said a prayer for him, they counted,,, each and every one. I would also like to thank Baylor's # 25. He put a good hard hit on Aaron, but that is the game. He came out on the field, visibly upset over the injury, and wished Aaron well. That young man has class and is a true example of sportsmanship.
  5. MRI was Clean. Bruised quadricep. He will just need to rehab through the soreness. He should be game ready for opening night.
  6. It's Simonis, I prefer Chris. While I find it interesting (and even amusing) to read other folks' opinions and predictions, I can assure you that I keep mine to myself, especially when they concern my family. Chris, I hope most of these forum inputs are innocent "opinions and predictions" and the personal stuff is not published. It would be nice to have you join in the DII discussions. Thanks, as you can see by the number of posts I have made in the past 9 years I am not one to join in often, but I do like the facts to be right. I wanted to answer Mr. Woodroof’s question, Aaron was cleared after nine weeks. The “baseline” testing regimen that MBA follows would not allow him to play any sooner. I have a lot of respect for their concern over his complete recovery. He played a few JV games to get his feet back underneath him and then started the final game of the regular season against JPII. So here is to a great season, some great football, and most importantly,,, good health !
  7. Well said Mr. Simons. I look for your son to have a good year *********************************************** It's Simonis, I prefer Chris. 8. Outstanding job representing Tennessee !!! The Red showed discipline and their conditioning paid off big time in the 2nd half. The Crusaders were an excellent team and brought a large fan base that supported them well. Congratulations on your win, it was impressive to see you play so well in this NFL stadium. Roll Red !!
