I agree. The referees were inconsistent at best and did not keep the game under control. They missed many calls both ways. I know its easy when your in the stands, but better refs do exist.

It was a physical game and one DC player retaliated. I thought there was contact from the dyersburg player with an elbow once, but DC was definatly playing more physical. As for the kid being ejected, It doesn't matter what caused it, if you swing at a kid in a game, your going to be ejected, I thought DC fans could have shown more class then to send the ejected player to the locker room with a standing ovation though. Someone told me that the Dyersburg principals came into the stands because the DC student section was wanting a fight, and dyersburg didn't look like backing down. I thought the pricipals did what they should have done, The Dburg prinipal look like he chewed out one of our players for pushing after the fight. No clue as to what he said to the ref. The officiating crew did not perform well on my opinion on both sides. I believe both sides were denied a technical during the second half. DC hass lots of talent and should do well. Dburg has a little more work to do, but the potential is there. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, the girls game was one of the best games Ive seen for a long time. Congrats to the lady Trojans and Choctaws.

It would be really bad for galaxy attendances and sponsorships if this happened. No chance of Henry going to the galaxy, although its only 50-50 that he'll be at arsenal next year.

No way the galaxy would let him go to newcastle. Newcastle need to save their money for defenders. Real has a much harder game, but I think they have the experiance and the skill to pull it out.

I think Real Madrid will win it. Real have to win this next game though because barca play last placed gimnastic.

Dyersburg is doing a Rush show, should be pretty cool

You can't blame Northside for Haywood not showing up, they probably would much rather earn a state trip then having it handed to them. Northside have, however, already defeated Dyersburg, USJ, and Martin so they have definatly deserved to get to state.

3-2 Northside, both sides have great players and really want to win. I can see both teams doing well at sub-state regardless of how this game plays out

Refs like him should be reevaluated, althogh I dont believe bad refereeing constitiutes paintballing his house. That wont endear him to teams he feels responsible. I cant recall if he reffed our game last year with madison or not, but that ref called two penalties and gave out some post-game cards.

I would hope not, a referee will not be able to call a fair game when one of the teams has blacklisted him. The blacklisted refs should consider that it is not personal, but simply the coaches don't have faith in the official to call a safe fair game. Just to show how much some refs know, at the Dyersburg-Milan Game one of the refs called a foul when two players on the same team collided by accident. He gave the ball to the other team, which is kinda stupid. Ive heard of referees giving cards for arguing or fighting between teamates, but calling a foul when a team member accidental knocks his own teammate down is a new one for me! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

I think Dyersburg's Evan Jones deserves a spot too. Hes scored 4 goals, but his pace,hustle, and passing makes him a valuable player. Number 4 was pretty good, he did well against us last night. He should move to Dyersburg...

McNairys players cannot be blamed for who they play, and who they dont. Dyersburg, for instance wanted to participate in the USJ tournament, bu for some reason were not allowed to. What matters is how you play in those easy games, and how well you prepare yourself for the hard ones.

I wouldnt say we took it lightly, we wanted to win that game just as bad as every other game, if not more. Madison were the better team and they won, end of story

Props to Madison, they looked very good to me. Their passing was very good and they finished well. Madison capitalized on their chances, we did't. Nick and mason i thought were fantastic. Their Defense was also outstanding, despite a few little early lapses. I switched from defender to goalie during the game and they kept me very busy. The reffing was a little iffy at times, and i believe two reffs should have been used instead of just one and two volunteer linesmen(who made some bad calls both ways). No complaints, if madison play well in districts i think they can definatly finish champions. We'll learn from the game and bounce back.

agreed on the ref thing, I deserved my yellow, and it was a bad tackle (sorry desio) but our other players recieved cards for dissen, Kyle and a madison player were carded when they didnt deserve it, and we had another bad tackle for a card. Cards 2-4 could have been avoided with a second ref instead of linesmen. I knew their would be some friction between our teams, and two refs should have been used.The ref did seem a little card happy though, didnt give us any warnings. I also absolutely do not believe the refs in our two games were "bought off", but simply not trained well enough to recognize a call, or oversee a soccer game. Their was nothing wrong with madisons goals, they were both clear chances and madison took them. But i also agree that refs need to improve. I wish mr. King had reffed this game, he keeps things under control.
