Don't make statements like this when you obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Brandon Herman's family pays tuition like every other family in the high school at Grace. Grace does offer tuition assistance but only in the elementary school. Don't make stupid statements.

Brandon is not a point, and rarely plays it. JT Turner and Granger Hughes usually split time at point. However, if Brandon wants to play somewhere big in college he will probably have to move to the point and prove he can play there since he probably won't get much taller.

As a bystander with no bias I can say that Temple has one very good players and a team of adequate high school players. To say there is a lot of talent on that team is stretching things. I think you have some very hard-working kids who play hard most of the time, but hard work doesn't always equal talent. There is only one player on that roster that has any chance to play after high school, and those are the words of many college coaches who I have spoken to, not mine.

No, it's very true. We never doubled anyone. Even though we showed cover 2, we were still playing 3. If you understand defense you know how this can be done. To the offense it appears to be cover 2, but it is actually 3 with a player rotating up to help with the run.

It was a cover 3 that rotated to 2 against a balanced formation.

People please try to keep in mind that S.Pitt beat Boyd 47-7 and had the mercy rule in effect. The Pirates are the best single a team in the state, and NO ONE in our 3-1A can compete with them. Their closest region game to date is 41-6, and in that game they held a very good LV team to 10 yards rushing in the first half. By saying SBA can stay within 4 touchdowns of S.Pitt. is saying SBA would beat Boyd. That also would not happen. Nothing against SBA, but they just aren't in that class. Bigger, faster, stronger athletes. If you want a comparison, think of this. Grace beat Silverdale 58-46. Boyd beat Grace 37-7 and had the mercy rule running. S.Pitt had the mercy rule in effect on Boyd, and dominated them in every aspect of the game. S. Pitt is scary good, and they should already have a place waiting in the trophy case for the gold ball.

They definitely got off light. In 1993 McCallie was put on 3 years of postseason ban in ALL sports because of 1 major violation by the wrestling coach regarding 1 player. How is this penalty fair when it involved multiple people and multiple instances.

It may have come across harsh, but this is the third time I have had to say something on multiple forums here. I understand that some people can see through foolishness, but I also receive comments all the time from people about this person and quite a few people don't see it like you do. Thanks for saying he may be one of yours. I hope for both our sakes he's not with either school.

Whoever you are please shut your mouth. If you are truly affiliated with Grace (which I doubt) please remember who you represent. For every other person on here we apologize for the actions of this individual and hope that you are all aware that this is not representative of the vast majority of people at Grace. We respect every school in the Chattanooga area and look forward to future competition with all schools, public and private. Does anyone know anything about Riverside Christian? I can't find them anywhere on the internet. The only Riverside Christian in Tennessee on the web is a K-8 school.

That prospect list is a joke. It is the sports writers at the Free Press' list. They have not consulted any college coaches for that list. The Edwards kid is not on any college's list anywhere. Reality is that the vast majority of the sports writers at the Free Press don't have a clue about the players in the Chattanooga area, only what coaches tell them (or lie to them about).

Hamilton Heigthts has permission to play TSSAA schools, but are not a member. They petitioned for the opportunity to play several years ago.

That is completely false. I worked at SBA from the beginning and that policy was never in place. When I began working at silverdale I attended Woodland Park.

Silverdale never required their teachers to attend SBC nor does Grace require its teachers to attend GBC.

Actually, he was involved. The poster was a little misinformed. The CSAS student had a temple football bag which he brought into a classroom, and Coach Dragoo saw it. He asked where the kid got it and the kid told him, "at practice the day before". Everything else redandwhite said it accurate.
