Does anyone know of any summer leagues for high school age boys in the knoxville area?

How are the district 4A teams looking heading into first week of pads?

Surely there is more to say about the district than this! Who are the top players? What are the best matchups? How are the teams looking so far in practice?

Wartburg, Cumberland Gap, Oakdale, Knox Christian, and Wartburg's JV played in a round robin. Cumberland Gap has a very strong armed QB. Wartburg is running the no huddle spread that is pretty effective. Oakdale looked to be much improved. Knox Christian was very young and inexperienced.

What teams are going to be in the passing league at Wartburg this Saturday? Is the competition going to be worth watching? Who are some of the teams to watch?

So there is not thoughts on how the district will be this year. I figured at least the Sunbright folks would be on here to hype up their team.

How are the teams in district 4 shaping up? Who are the projected teams to make the playoffs from the district? Who are the top players in the district? Who are some of the newcomers to watch? Looking forward to input from the board. How do you see the teams finishing out of Coalfield, Jellico, Oakdale, Oliver Springs, Oneida, Sunbright, and Wartburg

Oakdale is no match for Oneida but they do have some pretty good athletes in the Turner boys and Perkins. I have no doubt Oneida will run away with this one 35-6.

Is Wilson going to be the starting center? Is the line going to be the strength of the offense?

Can someone give me a rundown of the teams this year? Coalfield - What do they have returning after the loss of BD and all those skill players? Wartburg - Have they found a coach? Is he gonna be a difference? Do they have any playmakers? Sunbright - What are the expectations? Do they have a large turnout of players? Oakdale - Is Chip Strickland the real deal? Can he pump any life into this program? How many kids are buying in?

When he made his unofficial to ND it made his decision harder. ND pulled up on his list and now he will take officials to both schools during the season and then decide.

The longer he waits the better for ND. If he truly knew where he wanted to go he would commit. Chris seems like a real smart kid so he is going to make the right decision. I just hope its running through the T. Go Vols!!

Well I don't know how good the line will be but I do know that they picked up a huge transfer from Florida. He is 6'7-6'8 range and around 350 lbs. If this guy has any ambition and athleticism he will dominate any other lineman in this region. I have talked to some people close to the program says they have around 40 - 45 players out. Also told me that the line is gonna average between 225 - 230, that is without taking into account that other giant. Look for them to be faster and more athletic than any other team in the region and also finish 1st in the region. Harriman vs Coalfield should be a great game.
