Hopeful for no serious injuries with the outcome of this game. Passing game seems to be hit and miss. The McFarland boy does a good job, just won’t be able to run for his life all night to make the plays he needs to. I think this game “COULD” be close for a half. But the speed of LC will wear us down. Good luck to both teams and you guys from Tiptonville have a safe trip.

With the region starting to shape up South Fulton travels to Dresden to take on the Lions. Both teams come in looking for a win to push their playoff hopes and extending their season. Last year South Fulton got the better of a beat up Dresden squad vanishing their chance to make the playoffs, also getting the W over the Lions for the first time in I don’t know when. South Fulton has shown glimpses of spark here and there, and maybe some luck getting the better of Fulton County which just gave Greenfield their first loss of the season. However Fulton Co rb going down in the first quarter may have aided that outcome significantly. After being down 22-6 Friday night the Red Devils managed to reel off 34 unanswered points to get the win over an athletic Middleton team. Dresden comes in 1-5 and probably a little more battle tested. Losses coming to 3a Westview, State ranked Lake County, Greenfield in a close one as well as West Carrol. Dresden desperately needs this win to keep their season alive.

Indeed, they’ve got some good things going on over at greenfield. They didn’t make no where near the mistakes we did. ESP in the 2nd half, but that’s part of it. Looked like we got a little conservative on the possession after we scored to go up 22-20 and greenfield capitalized on that and you could just see the momentum change in their favor. Looked like we laid down after that and y’all ran with it. Congrats to Greenfield and good luck the rest of the season, definitely have something to be proud about over there.

Greenfields offense? Do they have much of a passing game? Can the defend the pass very well? We got a qb that can sling it and some wr’s that will go get it as well. I honesty see this being a higher scoring game for both. Like said earlier this game will show how the rest of the region should play out.

Greenfield comes to town sporting a 2-0 record after only allowing 6 points the first two games against lesser opponents. South Fulton comes in 1-1 with a win over Fulton County,Ky where they scored 26 unanswered points in the second half to win in double overtime 36-30. Big region game this week for both teams I believe to show how the latter part of the region shapes up outside of lake county. Thoughts??

Against Sf, they tried throwing the ball quite a bit. Had a lot of mistakes with the weather. They have quite a bit of athletisicm on both sides of the ball to go along with size They loaded the box on defense but we had success to an extent running off tackle with our big boys. Y'all should match them speed for speed I believe. We (Sf) were tied 6 6 I believe in the 3rd quarter and Hillcrest got an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone to give us a safety and go up 8 6. Well on the ensuing kickoff with the punt style kick our kids seen the punt and took it as a normal punt. Let the ball roll and hillcrest downed the ball on the 2 yard line and punched it in. Player/coach mistake there that took any moment we had and you could tell it. We played in a panic the 4th quarter and let it go. Good luck to lake co, I'll be pulling for you guys!!
