For once we agree. I graduated in 1981 and in as much as I want this to be a replay of that game and those years, it just won't happen As much as everyone hated that team (The U by Billy Corbham, ESPN 30 for 30), everybody else has turned out to be that team. Miami doesn't even make the paper. Each year we seem to have another Miami though, ND should be thankful as they were in that role until you know who is in that hole now. It has a great story but unfortunately, the best football already has been played by both teams and we will see it at nauseum before and during the game with highlights because it certainly won' be what we want on the field.... Sorry.....and now back to Soccer

Nothing really, It is hard to believe that 6 days could pass and no one is posting on these boards. You would think you would here something like...congrats to the 94's for their victory at the Region III event and they will be representing TN at Nationals....when was the last time we had a team at Nationals?? when was the last team we had a GIRLS team at Nationals??? How many of them were from private schools????

So much to add here...so little time. On second thought, maybe we can keep the four classes of divisions and then just have a simple 4-game playoff to crown the true state champion each year.

When it gets back to one team, holding the title of state champions....call me. Until then, it is more of a "participation award".

We will find out soon if the "post season participation award " (previously known as the State Champion) will be coming back to Tennessee The current three-class system for all other Division 1 sports would be retained under the five-class football proposal. Nall's four-class proposal would mean four classes for all sports.
