You would think that all these people on here spouting off at the mouth would have the guts to at least list were their from. I am from Greenback born and raised. And I will tell you all one thing if anyone on here has ever played this great game then they know that no team can over look another one. Because all it takes is one bad play or one missed block and your season is over. So lets all stop yhis and play one week at a time.

Well if you aint already parked around the fence you aint going be!!!!!!!! There are 30 trucks and a 25 foot trailer already there. Ive been out for 19 years and let me tell you folks something IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR SYSTEM ! NEVER. I am a volunter fireman here and we work all practice and and games, myself and 2 other EMT's are the trainers for Greenback. It makes me mad when I see how much tallent this team has and dont use it. This is how I stay close to the game.

1987 Greenback vs Webb it was billed as the battle of the unbeaten number ones. We were number 1 in Class 1A they were number 1 in 2A. We went into there house and won 10-7 on a field goal that was kicked by Shane Hair, it was his one and only field goal that year. It was the hardest game I played in.

Yea thats true about the fight. There is still like 1:45 seconds to go in that game with Vonore. It started with about 3:00 min. left in the game and got so bad that even their fans was jumping the fence to start fights. They had to be escorted back to Vonore by police. This was back in 1985! GOD I MISS THAT BATTLE

Used to be Greenback and Vonore back before Monroe County consolidated Vonore and Madsionville. Now it Greenback and Midway, Greenback and Coalfield, and Greenback and Onidea.

Well this is coming from a member of the nation in greenback we have already got whipped by S.P. and in three weeks well see what Caolfeild has. aAs far as these two regions go region 2 appeares to be tougher just by looking at scores. Tahts not to say that 3 isnt. But I feel that these two regions year in and year out are the tuffest in the state. I will repost in three weeks and tell you which team I think is the better one.

Its almost like Hawkins is afraid to play. I was watching yhe L.C. game and thats not just my oppinoin thats what everybody standing at the fence said.

I will give ccredit to South Pitt but I belive Coalfields is better.

Well we at Greenback have seen the number 1 team in th estate and they beat us bad, of course were not any good this year and thats putting it lightly. I would have to say that South Pitt is the number 1 team. But we still have to play Coalfield, Onidea,and Midway. this has to be 1 of the tuffest regions in the state. You cant count out Harriaman , and Sunbright either. This class is one that has reguraly been won by eastern Tn. over middle and west Tn. They just seem not to be able to handle the big east.
