You would think that all these people on here spouting off at the mouth would have the guts to at least list were their from. I am from Greenback born and raised. And I will tell you all one thing if anyone on here has ever played this great game then they know that no team can over look another one. Because all it takes is one bad play or one missed block and your season is over. So lets all stop yhis and play one week at a time.

As much as I hate to say it I dont see us winning. The only way ae could win is if Oneida was to forefit for some unforeseen reason.

Ive been out for 19 years and let me tell you folks something IT NEVER LEAVES YOUR SYSTEM ! NEVER. I am a volunter fireman here and we work all practice and and games, myself and 2 other EMT's are the trainers for Greenback. It makes me mad when I see how much tallent this team has and dont use it. This is how I stay close to the game.

1987 Greenback vs Webb it was billed as the battle of the unbeaten number ones. We were number 1 in Class 1A they were number 1 in 2A. We went into there house and won 10-7 on a field goal that was kicked by Shane Hair, it was his one and only field goal that year. It was the hardest game I played in.

Yea thats true about the fight. There is still like 1:45 seconds to go in that game with Vonore. It started with about 3:00 min. left in the game and got so bad that even their fans was jumping the fence to start fights. They had to be escorted back to Vonore by police. This was back in 1985! GOD I MISS THAT BATTLE

Used to be Greenback and Vonore back before Monroe County consolidated Vonore and Madsionville. Now it Greenback and Midway, Greenback and Coalfield, and Greenback and Onidea.

Well this is coming from a member of the nation in greenback we have already got whipped by S.P. and in three weeks well see what Caolfeild has. aAs far as these two regions go region 2 appeares to be tougher just by looking at scores. Tahts not to say that 3 isnt. But I feel that these two regions year in and year out are the tuffest in the state. I will repost in three weeks and tell you which team I think is the better one.

Its almost like Hawkins is afraid to play. I was watching yhe L.C. game and thats not just my oppinoin thats what everybody standing at the fence said.

I will give ccredit to South Pitt but I belive Coalfields is better.

Well we at Greenback have seen the number 1 team in th estate and they beat us bad, of course were not any good this year and thats putting it lightly. I would have to say that South Pitt is the number 1 team. But we still have to play Coalfield, Onidea,and Midway. this has to be 1 of the tuffest regions in the state. You cant count out Harriaman , and Sunbright either. This class is one that has reguraly been won by eastern Tn. over middle and west Tn. They just seem not to be able to handle the big east.

Harriman just beat our ######. Our boys are just a bunch of babys they dont have what it takes to play football. I asked one of them before the game if he was going to do anything and he said he hadnt made up his mind yet!!! That upset me off and I told him that was the exact reason that we were 0-4 now were 0-5 for the first time in school history that i can find.

No I have to work. But so far this year i have not been impressed with Pats play. Im supprised that eddie v has not kicked his ###. As big as he is he should be able to hurt people. But its like they were told earlier this week anyone could walk up tho 95% of the team hit them right in th emouth and they would ask why did you do that. Instead of kicking somebodys a*%. He has the ability but just hs figured out how to use it to his advantage. No I was not a linebacker!!!!!!

That is the stupidest thing ive heard! To be the greatest you have to win every game! That is the reason you are no where close to be the best team! And yes that dose mean they were the better team. yes pride i am a very proud to say i am a member of the nation. But the way these kids are playing its a disgrace. And the one player youre talking about is #14. I played there and we never disgraced the ORANGE AND BLACK like this.

Vonore12 thanks for the words! Pride2909 if you cant win the big game you dont need to even consider that you were the best!!!!! Crap you couldnt even hold our jockstraps from 1987. You are not the best team from Greenback little lone the best 1A team ever. Crap your team is like the third or fourth best team from Greenback.

Untill Greenback gets some testicular fortitude and some pride they wont win! I hate this because they have got a lot of talent. Their line has got to get physicaly tougher. They have got size but thye suffer from pu##icitis. Their quaterback has got to work on fundementals. Their recivers has got to preform a cranial extrcation from their rectum and learn how to catch a pass. They have to find some leadership somewhere! Someone has to step up and lead be it an eigth grader, freshman, sophmore, junior, or senior. Somebody needs to step up and take control. Everyone of the players needs to stop making excuses and take responsibility for their screwups. I thinkk they cann win games but only if they do these things.
