so once the whistle blew bearden had over half their team in the box? gosh, its amazing that with that many people back there that they still manage to score a goal. coach turner is a great coach who obviously knows what he is doing with back to back state champs boys and girls! there is no need to bash a coach or school. sore loser.. yes. bad officiating goes both ways. you got beat.. end of story.

bearden is going all the way! i watched them play tonight and they have more heart than any team out there. bearden will dominate Collierville.. the underdogs are making history! watch out for the DAWGS!!

bearden tied houston 1-1 earlier in the season, so it will be a good match up. i know they will play their hearts out no matter what and hopefully they will win. cant wait til wed!

ilovethisgame, i apologize for making remarks about the greenville team, i was caught up in the moment. they have come a long way this season and really surprised me.. it's too bad the officiating was so bad. i heard all kinds of stuff in the corner of the field that obviously sparked the ref's attention and he wasted about 5 min.. i didnt think that was necessary at all. whether or not that was the turning point is ones own judgement. but overall it seemed bearden dominated 2nd half, which is when both teams came alive.

teach your players to not slide tackle in a box. oh and tell your parents to not chant Kill the Referee! then maybe you might have a chance.

OK the first two penalty kicks were not bad reffing. Number 18 was slide tackled and pushed down completely in the box. Bearden indeed missed 2 great oppurtunites to up the score. The ref called bad calls the WHOLE game on both sides. bearden got 2 or 3 yellow cards for nothing. And yes bearden came off 2 overtime/sudden death matches and i can assure you they were Not in their strongest state. greenville could succesfully do an offsides trap. woot. the handball i think everyone can say was a bad call. but regardless bearden still stepped it up and made that last shot which officially ended the game. for the size and reputation greenvilles soccer program has had in the past, i would say they have gotten much better. however, bearden was the better team.
