I heard the same thing from a coach in the region as it was acknowledged by MJCA when they had the discussion at the region meeting. I was told that is the T$$AA policy on the issue of region forfeits.

Well said and true but sometimes the things you cannot control will inhibit you and ultimately the kids.

There was a post on another thread that Johnathon Quinn former player/qb from MTSU has or will interview.

If he is from here maybe family.

They would obviously lose money overall but they also lose expenses by having less teams as well. Point being they are only driven by money and not the best interest for kids as they have proven te and time again.

My apologies, you have more info than I thought. I don't think there are more people than the AD Headmaster and Principal involved, and I still find it hard to believe they are interviewing off campus. Agreed they will not find a Paul Wade, but the new region is significantly different as well.

Nothing you have posted about this job checks out, this has been hush hush from the beginning there is no way they are interviewing candidates off campus. My guess is you are a candidate or have a close buddy who might be are and just stirring the pot as iI said earlier. Do you even know who is on the interview committee, or if the coach from this past season interviewed? If you or your pal interviewed you know the answer to both of these questions. My guess is you have no clue.

Rumor is 2 more on campus today, QS either of these your guys?

Last I heard he teaching in Metro but coaching at GCS, his youngest graduates from there in May, wonder is he will stay on.

Care to share who those are or at least give some hints? According to people on campus there have only been 3 interviews and they will be finished with interviews next Friday.

I think Childress's expressed sentiments show clearly that indpendent schools would be better off leaving TSSAA and forming their own organization. Other states have done this to excellent effect. Amen
