What about Clarksville Academy? We (WHHeritage) play em in the first game HOF game Nov 19th. Just wondering if they have anything like the twins?

Sombody wrote in last weeks thread about Heritage and Sycamore that Camden and Heritage run pretty much the same offense. Ha. Should be interesting if that is the case. btw thanks for the directions....dont plan on doing any fishing so I'm guessing Birdsong road is out.

Any pre season Scrimmages going on ? How are your teams looking. Who has the toughest Hall of Fame games?

I keep hearing about the running back for Camden...What about the Quarterback? Does he have an arm do they throw the ball much. Is he a runner too or just hand it off. Heritage has a Soph QB that has steadily inproved over the year. He will be a stud by his Senior yr. Has a good arm now but just wait for a little more experience. Very glad to have these extra playoff games only helps for experience factor. Will be coming to the game do you guys usually get off at Birdsong rd or go on down the interstate?

Lots of Names were considered...in the end White House Heritage ended up being the name. Nothing Special about it that I know of. White House High School is on the (Sumner County ) side of the city of White House. The City is split right down the middle by the County line. ​

Doubled CPA in Rushing yards drove the field on them and held time of possession. CPA is beatable somebody please do it !!

@38320 cant really tell for sure. You all from Camden should be able to make a better prediction than we can over here in White house. The East Nashville team yall just played...we beat em 28-7 two weeks ago. How did you feel you faired against East over all? Was it a close game and did East have a chance to win or did Camden have control the entire game? Heritage pretty much throttled East. Let us know. btw East Nasty would be considered... "city slickers" lol. WHHeritage not so much.

Looks like Sycamore has a good team but lost 2 out of the last 3 games to some good competition in Fairview and Camden. Injury bug? Heritage started slow in the beginning of the season and has finished winning 7 straight. Defense seems to be both teams strong point. Should be a battle. Who ya got in this one?

Cheatham Harpeth Greenbrier Westmoreland White House Sycamore WHHeritage These are the teams of 9AA. Cheatham (2) will be good don't have an argument for that. How good...that is the question. depends on how much they have worked over the summer and how well they can run their stuff against tough defense. White House(3) I for the life of me cant figure out the two players from White House that you think are probable 30-40 point scorers. I have an Idea but don't think they are THAT fluid. They have a good team and will be a tough out this yr for any 9 AA team. Westmoreland(5) is always scrappy/tough physical team but I agree not the cream of the crop this year. Sycamore(6) has some players, one in particular that is smooth and can score but a weak team overall I believe .500 at best. Harpeth(4) lost I think two key players from last years team that was very scrappy. don't really know what to expect from them...Well coached, very demanding coach that might be able to have them ready to play. Greenbrier (7) will have to prove themselves this year, lost one of their pure shooters from a weak team last year. Idk? WHHeritage (1) One of the losses Cheatham had last year came from WHHeritage a home loss for Cheatham. That was with 4 Sophomores playing significant minutes.Better open your Eyes to a Heritage team that is loaded with a Junior class that won the County Championship as 8th graders. They are all now bigger,faster and primed to showcase their talent this year. Should be a great Season. I for one am ready for some Basketball !

Cleggy, I hope Heritage has a good night vs Cheatham tomorrow night. A win will I think secure 2nd place in the regular season. and a good seed going into the tourney. Westmoreland beat Harpeth by 2 tuesday night. little shocker. Westy is on a winning streak here lately and might be the darkhorse. >?

"I would just like to thank all of the 11AA coaches and players for one thing. We have a young man in our community who is a regular in the Special Olympics. He also is a manager for our football and varsity basketball teams. He dresses on the JV basketball team. He gets some playing minutes during the games. He'll walk and double dribble often. He camps on the 3 point line and fires up rainmaker 3's pretty much every time he touches the ball. He's a great young man from a great family here in town. His classmates and our community just love him. He's hit several big time 3's from downtown this season. To see his face light up afterwards is simply amazing. Opposing JV coaches and players have been very classy and cooperative in letting this young man be a part of the game. Even the refs tend to ignore his violations. I just want to say thank you to all of the 11AA players, coaches, and fans for letting this young man be just like his peers who get to play the great game of HS basketball." 1 Cheatham County 9-1 2 Harpeth 8-3 3 White House Heritage 6-4 4 White House 6-5 5 Westmoreland 5-5 6 Greenbrier 1-9 7 Sycamore 1-9 Only one change in the Seeding as of now. WHHeritage jumped a spot to 3rd over White House. Heritage was able to hold off a improved Greenbrier team down 8 at the end of the 3rd and with a 25 point 4th quater to win the game by 15. White House had a hard time with Harpeth loosing by 31 points. Sycamore lost by 11 to Cheatham. I would not underestimate the record of either of the last place teams, they can play. The question is CAN Westmoreland beat Harpeth. If they do and WHHeritage wins the final two district games that would put Harpeth and Heritage with a district record of 8-4. Will the tie breaker go to Heritage for 2nd place because of the Win at Cheatham. Harpeth was swept this season by Cheatham.? It will be a tall order for Heritage as well I know. With Sycamore tomorrow night and regular season ending game with Cheatham....who will no doubt have revenge in mind. The district tourney will be a battle.

How come you left out the 3 loses to White House, westmoreland, and east Robertson that were between the cheatham win and Harpeth win? Because those were not impressive games. The losses to White House and Westmoreland ended up keeping Heritage out of a possible lock for 2nd. Heritage will continue to improve...as far as youth is concerned, Heritage started 3 Sophomores in the win against Harpeth. But yeah, I know it is a race for Second, Cheatham has done well again this year and deserve recognition. I bet the double overtime game between Harpeth and Cheatham was a classic, would have loved to have seen it. I dont believe that Heritage will be 9AA next season...I have heard they will be dropping to single A. Maybe back to 10A not sure. Looking forward to a exciting Tournament and who will represent our district in the Region.

White House Heritage continues to impress....With an upset win over #1 Cheatham Co. @ Cheatham last week, which by the way ended a long 2 yr home winning streak, and a win over #2 Harpeth last night. It looks like a Petrone team that is peaking at the right time of the year. Will this list CHANGE before the end of the season? Who will one of the low seeds upset in the next few games. White House got thumped by Cheatham last night....but I think have a good chance of winning against Harpeth and Westmoreland maybe pull #2. Can Westmoreland make a run, they are a very pesky team. Sycamore upset bid over Cheatham...I'm sure they would like nothing better. Its getting crazy in 9AA. *White House is averaging at least 61 points a game in there past 4 games, it's no fluke outplayed, kinda like Heritage outplayed White House the last 3 outings? You won by 7. White House is also giving up 61 points per game average. Heritage is giving up only 45 points per game average. Unfortunately the offense is not producing enough to get the W. Hopefully by district tourney time The Boat will be Righted. This District is up for grabs....no real powerhouse.

Can't beat 8. WHouse shot 40 something free throws to Heritage 20 something. ehhh But yeah, Tate did have 18 and some key plays...Heritage got worn down in 2nd half and didn't put in fresh legs. I agree, but I also believe that the speed and quickness of the guards for Heritage was a big difference maker and Defense. According to the Tennessean stats Heritage has the lowest total points scored against in the District. Not a bad stat to have as long as you have the offense to back that up. So, three straight District wins since Christmas break. I will take it Go Patriots..

Depends on which Westmoreland team shows up...if its the one that played WHH Friday night they win easy over Sycamore. my pick Westmoreland. At 62 points per game avg. Cheatham appears to have the Offense to put a whooping on Harpeth. Can Harpeth stop em. my pick Cheatham Does not Appear Greenbrier has meshed as a team yet with only one win this season. If they happen to pull it together tonight they will give WH a game if not White House pulls out the victory. my pick White House Heritage wins easy vs Merrol Hyde team that is small and young.

Kudos to Cascade...first year to move up to AA basketball and are in the Region final. Nice. (Did Waverly overlook said team)Should make however an easy game for Region 5 champion to cruise on to the glass house.

I had a feeling that Cheatham would win this one...after the first half of the Heritage Pearl game the score was only 38-32, PC up. Pc did shoot lights out the second half and routed the Heritage team who seemed to let the pressure of the win or go home atmosphere get to them. But after watching how PC played I knew Cheatham would handle em. Good job.

Interesting,thanks. It does still happen in high school bball. Maybe that is the approach we(White House Heritage) should have taken in the first round of regionals vs Pearl Cohn. ehhh the world will never know.
