Where are some of the players that played on the 1996 state championship team? Huskey? And the big end #82? Also the QB, I think his name was Justin Perkey? Would love to know!

I remember Huskey when he was at Webb. I was an asst. football/head baseball coach at Wartburg at the time and I believe Matt played both football and baseball. Seems like he played just a few years after Chad Pennington was at Webb???

Chad Pennington graduated in 1996. Huskey was a senior on the Webb team the next year. I heard he committed to Tennessee to play either baseball or football. Don't know, that is why I am asking. Does no one know where he ended up?

Pennington graduated in 1995. Huskey played on the '96 team that won the state. Eventually ended up playing baseball at C-N.

Yeah, I was aware of the '96 team that won the state championship. They beat us (Upperman) in the semi-finals of state playoffs. Thanks for the help anyway. And about the End#82? Perkey?

I played in that '96 title game against Matt Huskey ... He had a great night and the Webb defense gave us (Goodpasture) looks we havent seen the whole year .. THey played great that night and earned the title ... Also played against Huskey in college baseball in a fall league .. he had an unbelievable arm ..
