Does anyone know what school he plans on attending. I was hoping not UT, but know that their program are trying to make changes it may be a good idea. He has a good chance to go pro after college but he's definitely going to need a good coach to push him and keep him away from tempting destractions. I know he's being scouted heavily by Alabama, Miss State, Illinois, Florida, Tenn, and Pittsburg. I sure hope he excels and puts it down for the Ville. As we all really know he is the best out of TN in the last coulple of year, argue all u want but we all know what's real.

I still dont understand how his teammate Eric Devendorf made it to the McDonalds game over him. In the games I saw and the stats I seen, Devendorf seemed to be more of a complementary player who could of been replaced. Jamont had better stats in every category. I just dont understand. JP Prince and Jamont should of been representing TN in the game as the best from TN.

First off Jamont should be in the All-American game. That is a shame, but if you look at the last few TN players to play in this game (David Harrison and Corey Brewer) they didn't do anything. I think Brewer had 2 points and Harrison was the only player in the game that didn't score. I heard that Jamont stopped in to Knoxville to meet with Coach Pearl. I hope that meeting went well. I think he would be a good fit in the running system Pearl wants to put in. Him and Tyler would be a killer combo on the fastbreak. I think Jamont should go to UT. He would play immediately and help a team that really needs it.

Who know's maybe it's a blessing for the two most recent TN boys not to do that great in the MCDAA game. Harrison made some serious cash after Colorado and Brewer was great at the end of the season for Florida.

Yeah, I think Jamont would be a good player fit for UT he's got lots a skills, so does Smith. It would be a good start if Pearl could get them both.

    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
