4-26

This is being posted based upon the scores posted on the Coach T scoreboard Tuesday night. I don't know if the Shelbyville Columbia score is correct as I make this post, but assuming it is the standings with 1 game left are as follows:

Tullahoma 10-2 District Champs

Lawrence Co 6-5 Franklin Co

Columbia 6-5 Shelbyville

Shelbyville 5-6 Columbia

Lincoln 5-6 Coffee

Franklin 4-7 Lawrence

Coffee 3-8 Lincoln

If Lawrence wins, they finish 2nd due to tiebreaker head to head sweep with Columbia regardless of Columbia outcome. If Columbia wins and Lawrence loses, Columbia finishes 2nd. If Lawrence, Columbia, Shelbyville, and Lincoln all finish 6-6, which is possible, I don't know how the tiebreaker will play out for 2nd place. Shelbyville, Lincoln and Franklin could all finish 5-7. If that happens, I don't know how the tiebreaker plays out on who would finish 6th and have the play in game. It appears Coffee can finish no higher than tied for 6th, so they will be in the play in game.

Anyone got a schedule (days being played) of the upcoming tourney?

If Shelbyville, Lawrence Co., Columbia, and Lincoln Co all finish 6-6 then the tiebreaker is that head to head between these teams are thrown out and how these team faired against the top of the district which is of course Tullahoma. So if this is really the case then the only two teams that beat Tullahoma are Columbia and Shelbyville and if Shelbyville has beaten Columbia twice then Shelbyville would get the nod for the second seed. This is all assuming that all four of these teams finish tied at 6-6 which may be a stretch, but we will see after today. And if they do we will not find out for sure how this possible tiebreaker works until after the district meeting

My understanding is 2 games Friday May 6, 4 games Saturday May 7. Monday will be winners bracket final and narrow loser's bracket to 1 team.,leaving a total of 3 teams. Tuesday will be loser of winner's bracket final and winner of loser's bracket. Wednesday May 11 will be finals, 2 games if necessary.

4-27 Final Standings

1. Tullahoma 10-2

2. Lawrence 7-5

3. Columbia 7-5

4. Lincoln 6-6

5. Shelbyville 5-7

6. Franklin 4-8

7. Coffee 3-9

My understanding of the bracket is as follows: Coffee @ FC Loser eliminated.

1.Lincoln v Shelbyville

2.Columbia v Coffee/FC winner

3.Tullahoma v winner Lincoln/ Shelby

4. Lawrence v winner Columbia/(Coffee/FC)

5. Loser Lincoln/Shelbyville v loser Columbia/(Coffee/FC)

6. Loser Tullahoma/(Lincoln/Shelby) v loser Lawrence/(Columbia/(Coffee/FC)

7. Winners bracket finals: winners of games 3 and 4. The winner assured Region

8. Winners of games 5 & 6. Winner plays loser of winner's bracket final.

9. 3 teams left; loser of 7 plays winner of 8.

10. Championship

This is my understanding of the bracket, but the district meeting will solidify the schedule. 1st games of 6 team tourney start Friday May 6 @ Grider in Tullahoma.
