I am sure that the Waverly and CW game is juiced out. Waverly has their tournament this weekend and the districts start next week and looking at the forecast it might be hard to fit this game in. CW should be feeling good and be ready to roll heading into districts.

The tournament in Waverly this weekend is not Waverly Central's. That tournament is McEwen's.

Really? I thought that it was Waverly High School that put that tournament on. So, does Mcewen put it on every year?

When does the district tournament start? Is it going to be at a predetermined site or is it at the top seed which would mean it will be at Creek Wood? I know this district changed their format last year.

District 10-AA coaches meeting tomorrow to iron out details.

 

Nothing has been changed from last year.

 

Lower seeds travel to higher seeds through-out the playoffs.

 

Number one seed gets a bye and automatically advances to double elimination tournament.

 

7 plays at 2,

6 plays at 3,

5 plays at 4.

 

Losers go home for year, winners advanced to double elimination tournament. Lower of four seeds will play at 1 seed. second lowest plays at second highest. then two winners play, etc. until the field is narrowed down to one champion and one runner up.
