Culbertson at Cornersville. He had 15 k's against Forrest the other day. Minor, Vaughn and Culbertson round out the top 3!

1) Minor (Forrest) - number one because of potential, hasn't been as good as he's capable, still the best in district, probably in the top 5 in the mid state.

 

2) Vaughn (Eagleville) - best control in district; changes speed very well, not great velocity, works fast and is smart on the hill.

 

3) Skelly (Forrest) - very good fastball, still learning how to pitch. When this kid figures out how to change speeds, watch out.

 

4) Cole (Huntland) - good fastball, good off speed stuff, too eratic, needs better command of his pitches. Great potential, walks to many.

Graham (Cascade) - good fastball, good duece, when he's on, as good as anybody in District.

 

5) Culbertson ( Cornersville) decent fastball, good duece, always around the plate, good control most of the time.

Ivy (Moore County) Good fastball, decent duece, a competitor who will give all he's got.

Davis (Huntland) good command of his pitches, fair velocity has good duece. Doesn't walk many.

Culbertson did a great job vs Forrest. Forrest just couldnt get the sticks working. Cornersville held the lead till the top of the 7 then the bats came alive and forrest exploded with like 9 runs. but gotta give props to Culbertson, way to throw the pill man. thumb
