First you're going to have to have the grades and test score. If you can do that, then you need to get to college showcases and be seen. While Perfect Game provides the most exposure for major colleges, there are a number of other showcase opportunities. I'd suggest you check out this link:

Pay attention to the Pro-Motion Sports Blue-Grey Classics. They put on a showcase tournament at MTSU in August. It will probably be attended by a number of area college coaches.

The Middle Tennessee tryout is June 20th. You can access a nomination form on the website. If it's like it was a couple of years ago it will cost about $100 to attend the tryout.

The Tennessee Baseball Coaches also conduct a showcase, but you may have to have a high school coach submit your name. There's an e-mail address at the tbca site.

Good luck. Hope you're working on your grades.

Grades are important, but desire and heart are something that can't be learned in school. Good Luck!

I want to clarify that the MTSU tryout is NOT for Middle Tennessee State University, but for the Blue-Grey Showcase tournament that will be held at MTSU in August.

However, I'm sure the MTSU coaching staff will have representatives in attendance.
