When a coach makes out a schedule, how many games can he schedule for a season along with tournaments???? Just wondering.

32 games with each tournament you enter counting as 3 games.

So 32 games and that is including tournaments. So when making out a season schedule a team is allowed 32 games max????

A tournament counts as 3, so if you play in 3 tourneys that's 9 games. That leaves you with 23 single games to schedule.

 

But there are a lot of tourney you go to that you may play 3 round robin games and then a semis and then a finals. That would give you 2 extra games(which do not count towards your 32).

That is the reason I asked, I have heard there was team that was going to forgo (forfeit) all of its district games and only play in district tournament at end of yr, reason being: bus travel to high and school budgets and etc..... and they had contacted TSSAA and they said they could do that.

You actually don't have to play any district games. You would just be the last seed going into the district tourney. I didn't even think you had to forfeit though. I thought you would just not play them. I could be wrong there.
