Well, and since the "past doesnt matter" as to quote soccerpop then we can certainly see that Boyd still has a great shot at this thing. Every new game is another chance.... just look at what CSAS did to Grace last year.... I think it will be a repeat performance tomorrow night .... bye bye Grace.....

Sweetwater is not a good team in my book. I guess maybe some of the scores against the lousy team (that Grace won) were closer than I thought they might be from a team that beat Baylor 1-0.

Your right though, they weren't as lousy as a said originally.

i think the funniest thing in the world would be to see Boyd lose against CCS and then they can whine about how they outplayed grace in the district tourney and should have been playing CSAS. everything plays out tomorrow. i dont know anything about CSAS or CCS outside that ive heard they are both good teams. i think both will be very good and close. suffnpuff...whatever your name is...come on dude...the fact is that Grace beat your beloved Bucs twice this year on there HOME FIELD. those two werent small either. the first one was senior night and the second was for the district championship. now i would have to say that those two should be two of the hardest played of the year for the Bucs. yet Grace won them both. im not saying outright that Grace is a better team then Boyd, but its hard to argue with 2 HUGE wins on 2 HUGE nights with the Bucs having home field advantage BOTH times. maybe grace just has that intangible that Boyd just cant overcome!?

This game is waaay to close to call. Boyd is a great team, and CCS is too. I think I'm gonna have to go with CCS on this one for four reasons:

1. CCS has played a very tough schedule

2. I want to make idiotchild, imthatsoft, and tuffnpuff mad.

3. I wanna see CCS play Grace.

4. I'm listening to "Brown Sugar" by the Rolling Stones.

Ok, really I have only one reason. It could go either way.

yup Final was CCS 1 Boyd 0

Good season Boyd...

I actually made it to this game..first half ened in a 0-0 tie...both teams had oppertunities. CCS did a good job of controlling the flow of the game and shutting down boyds counter attack. about 5 minutes into the 2nd half ccs scores off a blocked ball by the goalie keeper..a ccs player followd it up and scored making it 1-0 ccs. both teams had a few more chances..ccs with the greater amount. Boyd was pretty much outplayed tonight by ccs. they won every ball in the midfield. they wanted it a lot more than boyd did it seemed like. the game was actually clean. only 1 card at the end of the game due to frusteration but both teams were playing hard. the parents were complaining a lot but hey, when do parents not complain. half the time they dont kno wat they r talkin about anywasy :) anyways was a good year for boyd. whoever plays ccs better watch out. this team has def. been over looked. they r ur typical ccs team. they work together and get after it the full game. good luck thursday in the region finals..

    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
    • 1A: Brayden Baker - Eagleville Rylan Collins - Lookout Valley Luke Treece - Coalfield   2A: Carter Daniel - Loretto Gray Eubanks - Huntingdon Trevan Myers - Pigeon Forge   3A: Gabe Eddington - Montgomery Central Carson Parrott - Livingston Academy Jaxon Walker - Loudon   4A: Eli Evans - Farragut Andrew Hill - Central  Brady Scott - Sevier County   Division II-A: Wesley Alig - CAK Cooper Jones - Boyd Buchanan Gunner Skelton - Columbia Academy   Division II-AA Brock Beddingfield - CPA Dominic Monaco - Brentwood Academy Tomas Valincius - Baylor
