East TN All Star Game

Yeah, they can't wait any longer into the summer because of summer ball I guess. It's a chance to take some shots with the bat at a professional field. It's a great place to play a game.

I will attempt to be consistant here after responding to another post on here about Showcase tryouts for yet another one of these being held this Sunday!!

Why in the WideWorld Of Sports would you have a Senior Showcase of Any KIND before the State Tournamnet is over????

Is this a bone being thrown to the teams that lose and dont get to go to States???

My guess is it is a couple of things. First, they are rewarding those seniors who aren't going to the state with a final game, and second, I believe they just don't have time to wait until after the state tournament to play the game. When school is totally out, those kids will be ready to hit the road and never look back at high shcool.

The game is cancelled for tomorrow due to rain. It may be rescheduled for next Saturday.

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 28, at 11 am. It should allow for some of the state tournament participants to play. See you there.
