Does Soccer have the Best Athelets?

In most countries in the World 90% of the best athletes play soccer. I would say only 10 to 20% of the top athletes in the USA stay with Soccer.

I think the big three (Football, Basketball and Baseball) still get our top athletes.

What do you think?

I've had the chance to play soccer as a youth in more than two foreign countries and had always been a top player among top level players, but theres sure is a big difference in the level of intensity and talents between the USA and other countries. Soccer is not a very popular sport in the US due to the big three and many other sports. I wouldn't say soccer has the best athletes in the US, looking at the exposure and love football gets. The US is definitely driving towards having soccer players as the best athletes, but its going to take some time before soccer can get the same exposure and love football and other sports get. That should play a big part in making soccer have the best athletes.

In most other countries soccer players are definitely the more finely tuned athletic machines over all other sports players. BTW can someone tell me about the USA vs. England game?

USA got dominated by Kieran Richardson...thats all there is to it...His first international appearance and he got 2 goals..Matter of fact i believe it would have been a beat down if USA was to play there real team.. they basically played there B team..Joe Cole(Arsenal) & Alan Smith(Man. Utd) were really the only outstanding englishmen out there..The rest of them consist of((and these are the ones who didn't play)):David Beckham(Real Madrid), Micheal Owen(Real Madrid), Steven Gerrard(Liverpool), Nicky Butt(Newcastle Utd), Sol Campbell(Arsenal), Paul Scholes(Man. Utd), Wayne Rooney(Man. Utd), Gary Neville(Man. Utd), and Phil Neville(Man. Utd) subbed in late into the game just to get on the field i guess...but they would have had it coming to them if those guys would have been on the field..trust me..

yeah wrestling does get good ones...actually they make good ones..ive never met a true wrestler who has been out of shape..
