All I can say is that I wish I were not 2,000 miles away so I could see Camden play the kind of football that other schools dream about. One thing is guaranteed, every team they play will come back and say that "They can hit!" just the same as we heard last year. I went to one game last year and heard the pads crack in top of the stands over the sound of the milkjug section. Only thing better than that is hooking up on a 200lb Mako Shark. I wish all the teams in the season the best of luck. This promises to be one of the best seasons West Tennessee has seen in a long time!!!!!! thumb

Look, your post simply said "Camden was the best team you played last year".  Whether you moved the ball against them or not, they were not the best team  you played last year.  Huntingdon beat you at your house, they beat Camden twice, once at their place and one at our place by double digits both times.  Dont get me wrong, Camden probably ended up in the top 5 last year but they were not the best team you played all year.  Camden had a great season but the Stangs had a better one.  You guys play hardnose football and have a lot of talent.  You always play tough regardless of the score.  Good luck in Region 6-2A.

Huntingdon's days at a perinnial powerhouse are numbered. Every school has good and bad times. Camden is building a program that promises to be one of the best in the state "soon". I think it is time for all High School Football Fans to stop living on the past seasons and look forward to what is coming in the future. Alot of great kids coming through the junior highs and pop warner can build great porgrams at the high school level. It all depends on the level of coaching. Look to the future and not the past and you will see great things.

I guess when you are considered the standard for success its an honor. You aint going to count our huntdingdon anytime soon. When boo and donald are gone, we have plenty to reload with. we have a few surprises waiting backstage.

It's funny how you say that 5-2A will sweep us. You MUST be a multi-millionaire since you can see the future. I need to take you to Vegas with me for the weekend. Its reasonable to talk about what each team brings to the table and such but when you start calling wins already....thats just stupid. If you haven't noticed....in High School football anything can happen.

      So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?

      Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
