No harm intended by 12 on that score chsOL68 that just what the newspaper guy said he had counted. Probably a little closer than that with any call backs. Hope you guys have a good year, beat Maryville and take care of that crusty ol' coach by not letting his blood boil.......lol, have known him from way back, my sister went to college with him somewhere between 1895 and 1965 at Cumberland in Ky.

Hey Central it was great being at camp with you all i hope we all had a lot of fun in that scrimmage. Your guys varsity is unbelieveable to watch I saw some of the Rhea Co. scrimmage. David Gaston is a beast. Good luck on your upcoming year and beat them rebels in November.

Doubleplay shouldn't be throwing stones, that is if the records on Coacht's past schedules are correct.

Volunteer football 2004 1 & 9 Jellico 2004 1 & 10

2003 5 & 5 2003 0 & 10

2002 6 & 5 2002 5 & 6

2001 1 & 9 2001 6 & 5

Volunteer football is not much different from Jellico's last four years. And if you go back further, I remember Jellico making the state playoff's in the 90's. They also had the state's Mr. Football, Tommy Bowlin (I believe is his name), during that time period.

A college education AND a good career, yet he still talks trash about a school he graduated from about 10 years ago.  Talk about being pitiful......

Hi ya tom!! I don't feel that storm is talking trash about his own school. Maybe you should start editing your posts! And I also feel that storm has a very good attitude, and should not have been put on posting probation. Especially since he was about to buy a plus membership. However, I do understand that no one was intelligent enough to counter him in a conversation, so the administration had to stop him somehow. Its a shame that someone who bragged on their own school and used clean language can still get the boot. Unbelievable. Storm, if you are watching, we love you. We all know that you are the man. No one can beat you.

The Jellico scrimmage was alot closer than that.  Our quarter back threw 2 interceptions which one was lucky cuz it got tipped a couple times.  I D-Line is good but we still got a lot to learn to be a JV team.  It was a good scrimmage for both teams.

I'll say one thing for the Central JV, they have a future so bright they need to wear sunglasses...........Central has more speed than the VIAGRA NASCAR TEAM on both the varsity and the JV. B) thumb BTW 09 don't forget that tip drills are a part of practice also

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
