Don't forget 4 and 5. There are lots of good 1A teams out there this year scattered around the whole state. No doubt Trousdale is one of them but not the only one. I think it could be anyone of several that could end up winning the state and no one can say which with any certainty at the present time.

As a former TC player I think I can safely say that We're BACK!!! in 1-A. You will

also find that during the last season we played in 1-A the only team that came

close to beating us was the eventual state champs in 1999. IF TCHS makes it to

the Blue Cross Bowl they have never been defeated by a team from West

Tennessee. The last time we played for a state championship we broke 12

offensive records for a championship game and destroyed the best from the west

that year CLarksville Academy 63-0 and it would have been worse but we pulled

the starters from the game at the end of the third quarter. THE ROAD TO

STATE RUNS THROUGH THE CREEK BANK!!!!!! Good luck winning there the last

team to do it was Livingiston Academy a 3-A team we beat 14-12 two weeks ago.

I'm sure TC is a good now but whats their history? I have never heard of them

being any competetion to anyone in class 2A if thats where they came from in

past.

Correct me if I'm wrong please help me out here. But now they are a STATE

POWER HOUSE in 1A hello people. LC was playing POWER HOUSE TEAMS when

no one else would in our classification.  And thier was only 1A, 2A & 3A so it

goes back to what I was saying all along it's nothing new to us

(check our history). And for the old school football fans (like myself)  it does

repeat itself somtimes (history). I could be mistaken but 2A was controled by

MILAN, HUNTINGON, DAVID LISPCOMB, MARION CO., AUSTIN EAST, ALCOA and

many more but never remembering TC. But ask about LC and you might need to

have a seat it's going to take a while! :thumb::D

Let's see...never heard of Trousdale County huh???? When it comes to high school football in Tennessee, no matter what classification, only those who belive Elvis is still alive are ignorant enough to say that "Trousdale County...never heard of them"????

They have only been in the playoffs 17 straight years...dating back to 1988. They were a double A powerhouse in the early 70's and beat Brentwood Academy in a thriller the latter 70's. The later portion of the 80's saw a great revitalization of the program. And the 90's....four state titles and you have never heard of them???? As the smallest school (by far) playing 3A ball star ting back in 2001, they made the semi-finals in 2001 and 2002. Lost to Knox Fulton by one in overtime...a terrific game. Now they are back in 1A with schools their size.

To say you have never heard of Trousdale County and you consider yourself a high school football Jimmy-the-Greek....is really pretty funny ;):D
