Al MacInnis to retire

Recommended Posts

dandy82, I admit it. . . .I baited you. :thumb:

We have known this for two years.

Next topic please...

Funny, the Post-Dispatch just reported it yesterday that it was imminent. Were you in discussions with him and his agent, so that you knew exactly when the word was going to be let out? When is Eddie George retiring?

Hey, Al was great for the power play but would be a handicap with the rule changes. Plus, Bloser fans knew he was around 60 years old....Even a Bloser fan can guess he was ready to retire in a couple years.

I don't need to be baited to make fun of Bloser fans, dead thing fans, whack hawk fans, blue jacket fans (no need for a play on words with THAT name) or "the thrashers"........fans......

He just announced it, yes, but the word has been out there for two years, now. He stated before the lockout that he would be retireing if the season was down for a year or more. He's old, and he can't hang anymore. His slapshot will still be the hardest in the NHL for a LONG time, or at least until baseball players begin to tell hockey players about steroids.

And who cares about Eddie George. He might as well retire, or try to somewhere other than Tennessee. I sure wouldn't want to play on a team that can stink as bad as the TITanS did on sunday vs. PIT. Sell the colleseum!!! TITanS ARE IN DEBT AND WILL NEVER RECOVER!!!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
