I was here when the debate raged on before the split. My high School, Ezell-Harding, had alot to do with this change and looking back that might have been one of the best teams i have ever seen at that level(1A).

 

Now that the mulitplier is in place and they are still doing pretty well whats the next move complete seperation? Higher Multiplier? You take a well coached group of disciplined kids and put them against a public school they are going to win more than they lose no matter what class you put them in.

 

So i say just split it completly so people can shut up and give every team a trophy at the end of the year no playoffs.

thats hard to say.

obviously some folks will never be happy unless there is a total split,

but there will always be some folks unhappy, no matter what.

there are those who will be unhappy as long as there is any split.

(i wont be happy till we get a merit system)

 

it is too early in the game to draw any conclusions,

but in the short run, privates and publics are playing 500 ball, in region play, with the multiplier.

if that holds up, a total split might be hard to sell...

 

even if sleezell does well!

This will really heat up when the playoffs start. Region 5 looks like the private schools could take all 4 playoff spots and maybe sweep region 6, some people could get excited.
