theghost20
Sorry for not getting the rest of the results posted. It was a long weekend. Unfortunately I don't have any scores. We had a large poster that had them all posted and I think GPS took it with them (which is fine - just don't have any scores written down anywhere else). So - I'll tell you what I can remember 2nd Pool Play at AC GPS def Oak Ridge 2-0 GPS def Karns 2-0 Oak Ridge def Karns 2-1 AC def TN High 2-0 AC def Clinton 2-0 TN High def Clinton 2-0 Gold Bracket Eliminations GPS def Catholic 2-0 TN High def Karns 2-1 Oak Ridge def Clinton 2-0 AC def Greenbrier 2-0 GPS def TN High 2-0 AC def Oak Ridge 2-0 GPS def AC 2-
PageMan
That's ok about the game scores, ghost, those things happen. Congrats to both GPS and AC on doing well. It's really hard to get all the scores, especially when GPS takes the central scoreboard. My method for trying to get scores is to have a sheet with all the Friday pool games on it so I write the score down one time - not forwards for the winning team and backwards for the losing team - that procedure always confuses me on the central score sheets for pool play. After Friday's pool play, I make another sheet for Sat. pool play and print out the bracket. I keep my score sheets on my clipboard separate from the central scoreboard, even at the Page tournaments so I know exactly how each team is doing and when they play next. I write the bracket scores on my bracket sheets because most tournaments stop writing down scores after pool play is completed. It's impossible to get scores from remote sites, most of the time, unless the score board updaters are really good. Thanks for your reports, ghost. I normally just grab my digital camera and take a picture of the score sheets - but in this case - it was gone! GrGldnEgl
In the Silver Division of the AC tourney you had William Blount and Boyd Buchanan go in with a BYE for the quarterfinals. Grace Academy (Chatt) def Cleveland 2-0 White Co. def Heritage in quareterfinals Semi-finals: Grace def William Blount 2-0 Boyd def White Co. ?2-0? (not sure) Grace def Boyd 2-1 to take the Siver Championship. Edited October 4, 2005 by GrGldnEgl
