Jacques McClendon of Baylor school has been selected to play in the Army All American game. He is the only person from Tennessee so far. He will be playing on the offensive line. This is a great accomplishment and this proves all the doubters wrong. Congrats Jacques.

What doubters? Who doubted that the Baylor lineman was a stud. Now, an All-American? His team is STILL AVERAGE. What has he done to improve his team?

Congrats Jacques. Actually Brandon Warren has been asked to as well, but Alcoa's coach doesn't want him to play in it. I don't really know why this is, but I'd say when all is said and done they'll be playing together in San Antonio. Once again congratulations.

If that is true then congrat's. Why would a coach not want his players to play? Risk of injury? More exposure for the school? Represents the quality of players in the state.

That's what I'm wondering too. Maybe Coach Reid saw what happened to Kevin Simon in that game (ACL), and figure that one game wouldn't be worth it for his college career, which I think is kind of ridiculous.

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
    • biggest....just saying he is good at what he does. I may or may not have already floated this out his way.   He is a good guy!

Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
