Cherokees still busy removing football shaped suppository from the beating Maryville put on them.

 

Move to 4-A probably wasn't smart though they wouldn't have any more victories in region 1 5-A. Maybe they could beat CCHS and possibly could play with the now depleted JCHS. Maybe next year gives a chance for 3 wins as Carter should see a drop off. Too bad Mike Stevenson can't get a 5th year of eligibility.

L. C. has a great running back in Hightower(23). They have very little besides him. The quarterback threw the ball up for grabs a few times against Halls last week and the defense for L. C. wasn't very strong against the run or pass. If SD can slow down Hightower or give him yards but not TD's, you have a great chance to win. But I would think that you would have to put up at least 21 points.

no they did not win the food drive im not sure if they even won the toss.They should be able to win friday because of there speed,if they can protect the qb also.He took some big hits friday,I dare to say he is sore.George called the dogs off midway in 2nd qrt very classy coach!He had his punt return men calling fair catches at the end of first qtr.good luch sd friday!
