I am very interested in knowing what is going on!!! I know of two possibly three people who are interested in the job. Are there going to be any teaching positions? Who is interested in this job?

You tell me what two or three, One of the guys is from GA, he played at Central and would be a great one. The other two guys are coaches already on staff. Tell me what you guys have heard. I just wonder if they are going to have any teaching slots. By the way tribefan, the guy you might be thinking of from

GA, well, its not him, lol.

Just got my wheels rolling. I'm thinking of one that has graduated from central and one from a nearby school that are both either coaching in GA or have been there in the last year or 2.

Well, let's start throwing out names. I'm guessing your thinking of Brandon Derrick who graduated from Central and Bo Cagle who graduated from McMinn. Am I correct? I would think they have to give Brandon Derrick a very close look

I was thinking Rusty Brewer (Polk County), Brandon Derrick (MC), and Davis (MC)

I really think it will be difficult for anyone to win under circumstances that are now in place at Central. Good luck to Brandon, Brian, or whoever wants this job, it's not going to be easy.

Depends on your goals, your teams goals and the community goals. If they are near to the same the players can be successful. Does that mean 10-0, 9-1,8-2, 7-3. maybe not. But they can be successful.

Whats the difference between McMinn Central and McMinn County? city boys vs. country boys??

Grid, are you interested in either opening in Cumberland County? I agree also, Davis won't go to Central as he is teaching on 180 day contract so he can double dip. He wouldn't be able to do that as a head coach.

does it really matter who they hire they still will never have a chance of beating MEIGS COUNTY !!!!!!

Another name that might be interested is Mackersie from Polk County. He was off coordinator at McMinn in 2004 and head coach at Sequatchie County before that, just a possibility.
