McMinn Central

There isn't a difference anymore other than the size of the school. Used to I think it was a mentality that McMinn was a football school and Central was just there, other than a few good years in the mid 90's Central hasn't done much, but neither has McMinn. Central has always had problems getting the athetes to the gridiron field. It seems football always got the left over of the athletes. But as far as country boys and city boys, there isn't a difference. Personally I think Central is a better job if the administration would put an emphasis on bringing in quality people.

As far as who they are going to hire, who know's. I think everyone assumed Davis would want to come back and take it, but it's not the case. B. Derrick is a solid candidate and possibly the only applicant that isn't already on staff. It is going to be interesting.

Whats the difference between McMinn Central and McMinn County? city boys vs. country boy

Matt Hampton, interesting. I am anxious to know what teaching slots they are going to have open.

This is a team that has some talent and is improving. However the region they play in is a tough one. (notre dame, polk co, east ridge, meigs co, howard, grundy co, sequoyah, and tellico) One for the rumor mill as a coaching candidate Matt Hampton from Rhea Co. former Central grad
