Overall Playoff record 59-17 with a 78% average.

Not what I expect. The last two weeks should be much more indepth.

 

 

5A

OAK RIDGE OVER FARRAGUT by 16. The Wildcats are thinking Gold.

RIVERDALE OVER COOKEVILLE by 20. The Warriors are used to making the trip.

BRENTWOOD OVER RAVENWOOD by 2. The last time they met the Raptors won.

RIDGEWAY OVER GERMANTOWN by 10. Might be a heartbreaker.

 

4A

MORRISTOWN WEST OVER SULLIVAN SOUTH by 7. Rebels had a good run.

MARYVILLE OVER KNOX CENTRAL by 12. Always a good game.

HILLSBORO OVER WHITES CREEK by 2. Hillsboro has experience here.

JACKSON CENTRAL-MERRY OVER MELROSE by 6. Throw the numbers out.

KNOXVILLE CATHOLIC OVER LIVINGSTON ACADEMY by 10.The Irish stops Cates.

NOTRE DAME OVER WHITE HOUSE by 12. Great job by White House.

LEXINGTON OVER DAVID LIPSCOMB by 2. Great match-up, hard to call.

COVINGTON OVER CROCKETT CO. by 12. Toss-up game.

 

2A

ALCOA OVER LOUDON by 24. Or more if they want.

TYNER OVER BOYD-BUCHANAN by 12. The Rams on a role.

GOODPASTURE OVER CAMDEN by 9. Experience

HUNTINGDON OVER MILAN by 6. Another toss-up.

 

1A

HAMPTON OVER COALFIELD by 14. Coalfield has to travel to the Doe River.

TROUSDALE OVER FRIENDSHIP CHRISTIAN by 15. Trousdale wins it all.

JO BYRNS OVER MT. PLEASANT by 2. Tigers just can’t pull it out.

JACKSON CHRISTIAN OVER UNION CITY by 10. Great match-up

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
