I heard WG boys looked pretty good under new coaching staff. Heard also WG girls looked lost and confused to what was not very good Cocke County girls squad. If any has any comments, like to hear them!!!!

West Greene is a lot better than last year's, and will win some ball games.

Cocke County has two a good players, #50, and #3, if it wasn't for them they would have lost bad to West Greene.

No Mr. Freeze that shows you how much you know! Its not the coaching staff its because the boys have been playing together for so long. Also if we had some players of that stature WG might have won any way. If Coach Beets were coaching they probaly would have won any way. That shows you how much you know about sports!!!!!!!

I know it. I don't know much about basketball that's probably y I never made varsity. lol. But for real west greene is going to win some ballgames this year.

It was an interesting game for Cocke County.

 

They will go as #50 goes. He struggled in the first half, but came back with 14 in the 3rd quarter.

 

Nick Glenn (#20) just a sophomore - had some clutch plays in the fourth to seal it.

 

Girls game.

Typical girls basketball - I guess.

Both teams sloppy, turnovers, missed shots from 2 feet out.

 

Cocke County won 12 games a year ago, and could be a .500 team this year - overall (they play a tough schedule).

 

They will have to learn and improve. Although the loss of Bryant (42) with her injury will be a big blow underneath.

Sullivan Central beat Cocke Co. tonight at their place. #50 and I think it was #20 kept them in the game. 84-70. Central was up by as many as 25.

 

Buchanan had 40 for Central.
