I thought Powell had the game with Science Hill. Still trying to figure out why Hargis was in such a hurry at the end of the game. I was sure Powell would get the ball to Smith. Smith and Connor played really strong. Wattad said Smith and Hargis entertained him with their smack talk the whole game.....

 

 

Powell should have won the game against Science Hill. They had them beat the entire game until the last 17 secs. But more than likely that will be how Powell's whole season goes..."could've, should've, would've." Clearly, they've got the talent and depth, unfortunately a lack of understanding of how to use it. The juniors on the team won the both the league and the county tourny championship in middle school as 8th graders. They lost every game as 7th graders who sat on the bench. Until Ogan faces the reality that he actually has talent that doesn't have to display the unsportsmanlike conduct that so many have seen in the ones they've raved about being so awesome, they will see many games that end like the one last night against Science Hill. Touche.

What happened to Greeneville? I had heard they were going to be good this year. From the games I have seen them play, I haven't been impressed. They only go 6 deep, with no help off the bench. They are in for a long year.

Which game do you want to know about? I have seen every one except the Johnson Co. game, including the one they lost to Sullivan Central this morning. Played 5 players, until one of the 5 starters fouled out.
