blackman loses to siegel tonight...40-33 i believe was the score...

 

as usual...we had our 4 forfiets and one good wrestler out sick...

 

siegel also pulled two matches out at the very end...their guys never gave up in the close matches and therefore prevailed...

josh is the freshman at blackman 152lb

 

jess is a 7th grader and wrestles for blackman middle...135lb

 

and jay is my 4th grader...76lb...

 

if you are asking about jess...he has had a great year so far...30-7 on the year...2 losses coming at dixie nationals and 2 losses coming this past weekend on the dual combo team from brentwood and blackman that went to the big tri state dual tournament at pigeon forge this past weekend...the team got 2nd over all and jess went 4-2...

 

little jay has been abused by his brothers over the years... so he is a pretty tough little guy...and he wrestles for the sherrif sharp shooters but actually practices with the middle school...and he does love it...jay was on team tenn. that went to the national elementary duals in pigeon forge last year

Sounds like Blackman is very lucky!! There were 3 boys in my family, me being the oldest. The younger ones are always come along so much faster because of their brothers.

Thanks Matheny it means alot to me, but I assure you my kids improvement has more to do with them than me. They are a great group of kids who have won a lot of matches this year dispite me being outcoached.

the siegel wrestler jordan reinjured his collerbone, but blackman 171 was winning 4-1 in the first period.

 

the 171 from blackman may have been overlooked this year bieng out due to injury, he is back now a he is a pretty good wrestler
