Oakland v. Blackman

After having some time to sleep on it, a few thoughts from the game last night:

Oakland showed how balanced and deep they are when they got in early foul trouble and Coach King had to go to the bench early, but they didnt not dissapoint, as the bench accounted for a large number of Oakland's 72 points. Deandre Maupin showed why hes going to be a force for several years, and the same could be said for alot of the guys that stepped up tonight

As the season goes on, Blackman is going to need to find a go to guy if they are to have any sustained success in this district. Looks like Barnes is their best player, so when Blackman gets in a tight spot, they need to look for him to get a bucket

Slowly, but surely, Oakland is starting to find their niche, no matter who's on the floor. In the past 2 games, Oakland has thrown many different rotations at Blackman and White County and really hasnt dropped off on offense or defense, which is a marked improvement from their first 3 games. Kudos to king for letting things fly a little bit and calling for the alley oop play at the end of the first quarter, I believe the man is getting soft on us Oakland folk lol. But seriously, Kit Carlton is going to be a good player for Oakland the next 2 years but has to learn to finish strong when given the ball down low, he cant settle for a short jumper
