According to the City of Palms Tournament Website, Brentwood Academy knocked off Brooklyn Lincoln 82-63 tonight. Brandan Wright led the way with 32, going 12 of 15 from the floor. Josh Bone had 22 including 5-8 from beyond the arc, and Brandon Brown had 14.

Dang, that is impressive!

The Eagles take on St. Patrick (New Jersey), the number three team nationally according to USAToday, tomorrow in the semifinals. Go Eagles! Do tennessee proud!

Great job, Eagles. :)

What's the scouting report on St. Patrick - college prospects, schedule played to date, etc.?

Apparently they have no top 25 type players (although Darrick Caracter played their last year), but have a balanced lineup. Their coach says probably four or five will be DI recruits. They play all the best teams in the NY/NJ area.

Lot's of info on all the teams linked to the COP website:

that has to be one of the most significant/impressive wins against an out of state opponent in any TN sport in a while.

sebastian telfair came out for the draft after playing prep ball there

nyang boateng florida wide receiver also played there

Also the alma mater of Stephon Marbury and Mel Brooks.

Lake Wales, the team BA beat in the first round, was Amare Stoudamire's alma mater. Hawks player Al Harrington went to St. Patrick's.

It was without a doubt the best I have seen BA perform on the

court. The Brooklyn team was very athletic and boasted the

top Freshman in the country. He is the real deal.

BA was clicking on all cylinders. Brandan (once again) put on

a show for the crowd. Josh Bone was deadly from 3 point

range as was Brandon Brown. Guard play from Kottas, Beasley

and Bone was impressive as well.

Tonights semi-final against St. Patrick will be a much tougher

test. They are top 5 in the USA today poll and play a

withering defense.
