Traditional State Tournament Bracket

I understand how the 32 participants are determined. What I'm not sure about is how the bracket is going to be. In the past in the first round 1's wrestled 4's and 2's wrestled 3's. Now that there will only be two 4's in each weight class how will it be arranged? The math doesn't work for 1's vs. 3's and 2's vs. 2's.

My theory would be that two #1's would wrestle the #4's. Having two #1's wrestle each other in two of the round's of 16, if the #1's won their first match. You would also have to have two #2's wrestle #3's in there somewhere. It could be done like this -

The bottom 1/2 of the bracket would be reversed. :D You will have to draw your own lines, mine didn't come out right.

According to the TSSAA handbook, the state bracket will be released the week following the completion of all region tournaments. There is a rather detailed description of who gets placed where based on previous state medalits both Tennessee and transfers from other states, region champs, and so on. The final criteria in the seeding process is "blind draw."
