Where did Wayne Chism transfer to Bolivar from? Glencliff?

Anyone who might be doubting Chism...just wanted to add this. And there are people who have on here---maybe not this thread---but on the board...

 

I'm just as big a BIG ORANGE fan as I am a Bolivar Tiger fan. Well...it's so close you can't call it anyway!!!

 

Wayne Chism still has some learning to do (I'm positive he knows that)...after all, he is a SENIOR in high school. But I don't think Pearl makes trips to West Tennessee on a Thursday night (as he did for the BA v BCHS game) if he doesn't think he'll need Chism!

 

I'm also pretty sure he was looking at others also. True.

 

Coach Pearl is doing a fantastic job. He's nobody's fool and he did recruit Wayne. That alone says HE believes the big guy will make a contribution to the improviing VOLS down the line.

 

And Chism will do just that. Give the guy a chance. :thumb:

 

Totally you guys opinion I know. But I just don't see why, if you're a VOLS fan, that you wouldn't want Chism there and trust Pearl's efforts to get him?

 

And---no offense to ya'll intended. Wayne's had many more ON nights (check out stats) than he has had off nights.

 

My only gripe is that our Tigers can't afford any more "off nights". I bet they know this too!

 

Guys, if you see this and if you want to keep what you have (I know you do) then it's YOUR crunch time for sure. Ah, you CAN do it and we're all behind you. Go get it.

      You didn't spell Greeneville and Elizabethton correctly in your sentence.  4A has the best teams in Upper East TN.  Carter County All-Stars and Greene County All-Stars is the Superbowl now.

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton

      My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
