krichunaka
Unaka, behind 28 points by junior wing, Andrew Church, defeated Volunteer at Volunteer Tuesday night. However, the Rangers lost Josh Lowe - broken leg - perhaps for the remainder of the season. Certainly not good news for the surging Rangers. Josh is still a very good College Prospect, and hopefully this will have little-to-no bearing on the recent interests by several colleges. Good Luck, Josh. God Bless! cucry
Are you sure that Josh broke his leg - heard earlier that it was a deep bruise. Just curious. I didn't think Josh wanted to play at the next level. Another curious question???
Diggs9
Josh did "Fracture" the "Tibia" . That is the small bone in the lower leg. The doctor told him he will not play anymore this season, "Maybe" ?? baseball , but not likely. I just hate this for Josh's sake. It is very dissapointing , but he is taking it very well. PTSportsWriter
Hate it for the kid. Will this be a big enough blow to allow Cosby to finally breakthrough at Snavely?
cucry
Sorry to hear this for Josh. Maybe he will be able to make it back for some of the baseball season. Best of Luck.
krichunaka
Hate it for the kid. Will this be a big enough blow to allow Cosby to finally breakthrough at Snavely? Hey PT, How's it going, friend? Although the game Friday has suddenly taken a somewhat lower urgency, Cosby has not only broken through at Unaka, they have absolutely broken our little Ranger hearts. The 1995 (I think) Substate game was one of the most tormenting games to watch. Webb (First name?) destroyed us. The guy was throwing them in from miles away. Every time Unaka would make a run, he'd answer from waaaay out. But Unaka has always answered the bell, especially on The Hill; however they're facing such a monumental task tomorrow night. cucry, I think Josh will be very tempted to play on; will still get offers. He's become such a complete player, it's been so heart-warming to see how much he's improved. The Rangers had graduated nearly all of the State Tournament players, and Josh and Adam Buckles have responded to the expected vacuum in an amazing way. RANGER87
Lowe will be fine. It's a tough loss for the team but just as they showed Tuesday night, after he left early in the first half, they can still win. There are players on the bench that can fill the gaps. They also played without their other Senior, Adam, the whole game. It changes things but is not the end of the season. It's just an early sneak preview of next years team. Drink your milk Lowe and you'll be ready for sub-state, plus we need a runner for the fatboys on the baseball team.
