District 8AA Tournament

Not necessarily GB not getting any love...I just know that Portland came within 5 of us at homecoming and if you do overlook them then I see the upset coming. It nearly happened to SC during the season. As for Livingston and Goodpasture being the favorites for sectional, I can see why you say that but SC and Livingston met up at a Christmas Tourney when SC played their WORST ball of the season losing to HumeFogg by 20 and Gallatin by 20. Their defense has gotten a lot better and I think LA might have a good match on their hands if the two meet up. Station Camp will have to stay focused and get themselves there first though playing a strong White House team and then if they win going up against Goodpasture who won by 10 last time the two met up. I believe the score the first time was LA 84 and SC 79.

Yeah I know what you meant, I was j/k. Portland has gotten better. The first time GB played Portland GB won by 39, but the second time GB won by 15, and it took a strong fourth quarter to pull away. Portland also only lost to SC by 5 so yeah Portland is doing alot better. And you're definitely looking ahead alot saying SC will have to get by White House because WH has to beat DCA first and also saying that then SC will play Goodpasture because GP will have to beat the winner of GB/Portland first. It will definitely take an upset or two for you to be wrong, but I still wouldn't say those things until they happen because this district is very even.

White House beat DCA 69-21 and were led by Ricky Ladd with 16 points.

 

Greenbrier beat Portland 61-40 and were led by Logan Greer with 22 points and Lance Adams with 21 points on 10/10 shooting from the field and 1/1 from the free throw line...100% shooting night for Adams. Great job

 

Greenbrier vs. Goodpasture @ 6:30 Monday night

White House vs. Station Camp @ 8:15 Monday night

I am also hoping for AN upset...Station Camp over Goodpasture in the District Championship...but first the Bison have to take care of a very dangerous White House team...We'll see how everything goes...I also could see Portland causing an upset if they play the way they did against SC at Station Camp...Good Luck to all teams.

Great game tonight by Geoffrey Sanders and Kurt Caton, two guards who really stepped up their play to pull this one out. Also great game to Zach Frey from Goodpasture who had 37 points and barley hit the rim on any of his shots, much less missed. Every time he shot the ball it was just "swish" but GB was able to get passed that and pull off the upset. So BDP FAN and DISS78, there you go, you got your upset

 

Good luck to Greenbrier and Station Camp in the championship game and to Goodpasture and White House in the 3rd/4th place game, and whatever happens...let's sweep 7AA in the region tournament

After I watched the Greenbrier vs Portland game Friday night, I thought Greenbrier was playing some very inspired ball and that they would have a great shot of knocking off Goodpasture. I'm happy y'all pulled off a very nice upset in districts. I wish White House could have pulled off the same upset against Station Camp, but not sure we would fair well against the Greenbrier buzzsaw that is running now. From a huge White House fan, I wish y'all luck against Station Camp, I'll be pulling for ya !!!!

Hey, I like this guy ...well like I said, Greenbrier was gonna have to come out in this tournament and play really well to get some recognition that they haven't had up to this point in the season, and they've done that the last two games against Portland and Goodpasture, I just hope they can continue to play like they have been which will make for a good game with their 8AA "friendly" rivals Station Camp in the championship
